Perfect!

This was my wife and I second stay at sandestin last year we booked with a different travel site and it was nothing that we expected. This year was perfect the room was exactly like the pictures and suited the 2 if us perfectly. Being able to wake up and sit on the good sized balcony and watch the sun come up over the beach was amazing reminds me why I love Destin/Miramar!

Sandeestin is showing its age!

Old and not very clean. I met family to show off the beauty of the Forgotton coast & Sandestin property it was one of the best places to stay but that is no longer true. The furniture and the bed are OLD and worn out need to be replaced. For the money spent I expected much more. Most of the light bulb where blown. And I'm sure that the owners of this unit have not been there in awhile HOA is letting they down for sure, being a owner and have property on VRBO its very important to keep checking on the HOA & property management. No worth the $$

My 1st main problem was finding where to check in. There is no official "Welcome Center" as stated

They need much better signage! We weren't the only ones, there were other folks looking while we were there too! We were going around in circles! Also, we wanted to walk to the Beach House Restaurant from Beachside II, BUT again, very little signage we finally saw a small sign by level 1 door, but then got lost. AND again, we weren't the only ones! We had to later on help others get there also. Could have been a tad bit cleaner, but overall nice. Our room had a great beach view and an awesome sunset view. Just the directions are very poor. One other complaint, you don't know the address of where you are booking till booked, very frustrating as I was attending a business conference and needed to be close to it...

Okay Overall

The property itself was nice. Very quick and effective communication with the property. No housekeeping. We had ants on the TV stand the entire stay, and found a few on our bed the second day. I was NOT happy about that. There was no dishcloth or dish detergent. Absolutely NO fans in the unit at all. I expected a lot more for the money spent.
