Puerto del Carmen is a tourist town located on the southeast coast of the Spanish island of Lanzarote. It has sandy beaches such as Playa Grande and Matagorda, known for its constant breeze. At the dock of the old town, El Varadero, fishing boats are grouped. The Avenida de las Playas runs along the beach and has shops, restaurants and lively nightclubs.
