Killington Gem

We chose this property due to his proximity to the Killington ski hill. The location did not disappoint! It’s only eight minutes to Bear Mountain and about 12 to the main drop off. The house is well equipped, the fireplace was lovely and we loved the hot tub. It has four bedrooms and each bedroom has a sink which is kind of nice. I’ve never seen that in a VRBO house before and we all appreciated it. Ronnie the owner is very responsive and communicative.

Great Home

We had an amazing cozy trip at this home. Location is great and the home is cozy and warm and met all of our needs and then some. Hosts very communicative and solved any issue (wifi) that came up quickly. Would return without question.

Owners were really easy to work with and were willing to work with us to check out later on Sunday. House was nice and cozy and worked really well for our group. It's right next to Killington, which was perfect for us. Our only complaint was that some of the dishes were dirty upon arrival and needed to be rewashed. Security deposit was refunded without any issues.

Cozy ski house

Everything went smoothly with the check in and Ronnie was easy to contact throughout the trip. Overall we liked the cabin and it was nice and cozy with a cute fire place.

Could Use an Upgrade

The place was in a GREAT location, but the interior wasn't the comfiest. The mattresses are very thin and irritated some of the guests backs. The common couch area is also not well padded at all. The sinks are not in the bathrooms either, FYI. It is also a bit too cozy for 10 people, and there isn't any room for luggage in the upstairs space. I would recommend this place for young adults coming as friends and not for large families. Also, probably best for those who want to spend little to no time in the house.

Amazing Cabin! Very close to mountain!

This was the perfect place for a wonderful, easy get away. We arrived on Friday night and we were amazed by how roomy, yet cozy, the cabin was. There are many different rooms, a beautiful kitchen, and a great living room with a fireplace (that we used basically the whole time!). Best part is, the cabin is less than a 5 minute drive from the mountain. We highly reccomend renting this place out and we will definitely be back!

Perfect location & perfectly cozy!

This Vermont cottage was absolutely perfect for our weekend away! The wood finishes on the inside and the wood burning fireplace gave such an authentic coziness that we enjoyed very much. There was also so much space for all of us! Plenty of bedrooms, big couches and a great big table in the kitchen that all 8 of us could fit around. The hot tub in the back was a great way to relax after a long day of skiing. The greatest part of all was just how perfectly convenient this location was! We were right around the corner from a very friendly rental shop and just down the street from that was the Skiship gondola to get us on the Killington slopes. At the end of the day we were able to ski all the way down the Great Eastern back to our car and from there it was just a 5 minute until we were back at our cozy cottage! There is a market really close to get some of the small food items you might need but the town of Rutland where we were able to pick up groceries from a big supermarket was just a 20 minute drive. The local pancake house down the street was the perfect stop before we had to leave. Truly a great location and a great atmosphere for enjoying Vermont! We can't wait to go back!!

Perfect location, Cozy Vermont Cabin, we loved it!

We could not have had a better stay at the Dew Drop Inn!!! First of all, the renter Ronnie was wonderful - she was warm and responsive and handled all of our questions within minutes. Frankly, the photos do not do the place justice! When we arrived I was shocked by how adorable, clean and cozy the house was. There are so many unique touches and decorations. We all sat around the wood burning stove downstairs playing cards on a big beautiful wooden table. There were 10 of us and there was plenty of couch space. The place was perfectly clean and included all of the cooking utensils we needed to cook all of our meals at home. Highlights: -Location! For this price, and the proximity to the Skyship Gondola, I cant imagine that there is a better deal in Killington. Also there is a great rental shop 1 minute away from the house where I rented from for a great price. The area is just gorgeous. You look out the front door and it feels like you are miles into the middle of the woods, beautiful trees and a stream across the street, yet you have the convenience of being right by the mountain. You are not in the main area with all the bars which was perfect for us, but you can get there easily enough if that is your thing. - House Layout: The set up of the house was just so cool, and we loved the charm and character. Logistically, it was perfect for our group of 6 single people and 2 couples (there are 2 bunk beds, 2 single beds, and 2 master rooms). This may seem weird but there was a sink in each of the 4 bedrooms which was just incredibly convenient and quirky. Also, on the upper level there is what I can only describe as an adorable reading nook with extra seating. -Wood Burning Stove: So warm! They also provided firewood which was so nice and above what I expected. -Hot Tub: what more needs to be said? Big and perfect temperature. We had some fun late night dips after skiing. My only recommendation: bring flip flops and robes! You have to walk around the house. I knew this but forgot to remind the rest of the group. We look forward to hopefully renting again next year!

Cozy and comfortable!

This was our first time staying at the Dew Drop Inn and everyone loved it. Eight friends rented it for a ski weekend. It had plenty of space, comfortable beds, a warm fireplace, nice big kitchen table to sit around, hot tub, plenty of parking, and finally was 5 min from the gondola. Everyone had a really great time and we would all rent here again. The owners are easy to reach, friendly, and give you all the info you need as well. Make some memories!

Cozy, clean, great location.

Me and my group stayed at the Dew Drop Inn from 12/30/16 - 1/2/17. It was a wonderful way to spend our New Years! Off the bat it was a pleasure speaking with and coordinating with the homeowner, she is very polite, very kind and does an excellent job providing the necessary details about the rental and letting you know what to expect. She truly made the entire process painless for us. We stayed in the left side unit. As soon as we walked in i loved this place, it was warm and welcoming. Everything was very clean and neat from the kitchen to the bedrooms. There was 9 people in our group including myself and we all slept very comfortably, more than enough room. Plenty of hot water the entire weekend and the heating system in the house also worked very well, kept us nice and toasty. Hot tub in the back yard was a great treat for us, very clean and the water was set at the perfect temperature, not too hot and not too cold. I would highly recommend staying at the Dew Drop Inn, the location is very conveniant especially if you plan to hit the slopes like me and my group did. Killington Mountain was about a 10-15 minute drive. Also, located on the same street as the home (about a quarter mile away) is a snowmobile renting facility which offers a beautiful snowmobile tour around Killington. This was my second time doing this tour and it was a blast both times. Overall our trip was a great experience, me and my entire group enjoyed every minute of our stay and given the opportunity we will gladly stay there again !

The Best Place Ever

I took a flight from AL to get to NY then went to VT with my 8 college friends. This was the best time ever. The ski, place, tub, utilities,bbq everything was perfect. Ronnie was able to answer all my small questions without a delay and we could prepare our 3 days trip perfectly fine. We liked there were enough rooms for all people to sleep in. Especially outside jet tub when snowing is the best thing you can do after either ski/board for muscle relax. Do some BBQ after then have some beers and prepare for next day. Thank you and I will definitely be staying here again :)))!!

Nice and cozy!

The place we stayed at was amazing. It was super close to the gondola and the hot tub was perfect to relax the muscles in after a day of skiing. I would recommend this place to anyone! The owners were extremely nice and answered any and every question I had, at a very quick pace! Thanks again for everything and if we come to killington again in the future, I will definitely be contacting you!

The Dew Drop is the best!!!

I am so happy that I found this place!! 10 of us went up to Killington for a fun ski trip and there was plenty of room for all of us. Every person had a bed to sleep in (due to couples) and there was plenty of areas to chill out. Everyone's favorite seemed to be what we referred to as "The meditation nook" upstairs. Ronnie was incredibly helpful and could always be reached. I will absolutely be trying to stay here again in the near future!

Just what we were looking for

We arrived to the Dew Drop during below-zero temps. The cabin was a wonderful refuge. Warm, comfortable and the hot-tub helps too. Ronnie and Jack were super helpful with any and all questions in the process.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the DEW!

Been renting with friends for years now and the Dew Drop keeps us coming back. I almost don't want to write this so that I can continue to book myself (being a little selfish)!!! The place is great, always clean and AMPLE space. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a weekend with a bunch of friends and relax. Crank up the tunes with the great stereo system, enjoy a home cooked family style meal with a large kitchen table with enough room for at least 8 or chill out in the hot-tub a must for any ski trip! Always look forward to our stays at the Dew Drop. Owners are super easy to work with and even check in to make sure everything is as expected and you are enjoying your stay.

Large Space, Great Price, Wonderful Owners

I have been renting from Jack and Ronnie for years now, and they always have been great to rent from. The price is great, and the house it always clean. It is a great place to entertain with friends, considering there is a great TV, Stereo, and ample seating. The location is great, as it is a quick drive to Sky Ship, which allows you to avoid the crowds at K1. Always plenty of fire wood, and there is even a grill! I highly recommend stay at The Dew Drop!

Great Stay with friends

Ronnie was very helpful throughout the whole process. I liked how they had a real fireplace and such charming decor!! There are so many plusses about the property. The location is great with a snow mobiliing company right near the house. Killington is such a short drive away. It also has a flat driveway, which is plus side for those without 4wd, there are no hills to encounter for the whole drive to the house basically. Overall a great experience!

Quintessential Winter Cabin and Dog Friendly!!

Thank you so much for letting us stay at The Dew Drop Inn! It was such an amazing time and everyone had only the best things to say about your place. It was even better than advertised and was more than enough room for the 10 of us. Amazingly close to Killington and one of the best deals I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. The puppy loved staying by the warm fireplace and the cozy communal atmosphere as well! Ronnie is incredibly helpful and responsive. Between her and the inn, we had no problem feeling welcome and right at home. I hope this won't be the last time we get to stay here!

Our group loved the Dew Drop Inn - Do drop in!

My only complaint is that you have to walk around the house in the snow to get to the hot tub. Other than that, we loved the place! A good clean cabin for 10 people. Nice and cozy.

Dew Drop Inn is a place to be if you are going to Killington! This place is absolutely home away from home, very comfortable and everything you need while your staying is available and fully equipped! This place is great for family and friend and for all!! For example, if you are planning on cooking, all necessary utensils and kitchen tools are there so you dont have to worry about anything. This place is very clean and neat. And I liked all the details that owner put effort in to eccentuate the interior! The best part is, Dew Drop inn is only a few minutes away from skyship gondola by driving. It couldnt be more convenient than this!! Also their rates are greaaat!! I've stayed many times at condos managed by killington Group and their fees are very pricey. So if you are in doubt, take my word for it. You will never find a place like this cheap and awesome atmosphere! I absolutely loved staying in this place and definitely recommend this place! I will definitely go back !!!!!

Comfy, Cozy and Super Cute

We had a great time at the Dew Drop Inn. The home is comfy, cozy, clean, and super cute. The kitchen is fully stocked and with a table and bench that makes it perfect for breakfast and dinner. The living room is comfy with a fireplace that is warm and relaxing. There are 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms so everyone has plenty of room. The home is perfectly located near the skyeship gondola and local restaurants. After, snowboarding, enjoy the hot tub in the back, of course one of the best perks! This is definitely a place I would recommend and hope to stay at in the future. Thank you for the great memories!!

Perfect House

I stayed in the right side of the cabin. It is very spacious with more than enough room for 10 people. It has a great fireplace and a hot tub in the back. Skyeship and Snowshed Lodges are only a few minutes away with plenty of bars and restaurants just as close. The owners were incredibly nice and helpful if any need arises. Can't wait to go back next year!
