Bright, sunny not overloked, centraly heated , quite with skylights.

The flat is comfortable yet needs some TLC. The entryway to the apartment building has some plaster fallinf from the walls and trash next to stairwell. The hardwood floor has many loose boards with nails sticking up. The area rig in the front room is stained and dirty. The larger bed has springs popping up in the matress, which makes it not comfortable for two people. The twin bed in the back room is very firm and need a matress pad. The kitchen is functional and clean. Neighborhood is near a large park. Small cafe down the street. Quiet except for kids in the schoolyard (which we enjoyed hearing).

We believe that this property is in serious need of upgrading if it is to be let. I have attached photos of some of the issues. The windows at the back were very noisy when windy. The cold tap in the kitchen did not work.The location was perfect for us and communication with the owner was excellent.

Har haft nogle spændende dage i Edighburg, beliggenheden for lejligheden har været perfekt et roligt område og alligevel tæt ved bylivet og attraktionerne. Dog var vi noget udfordret på at finde den rigtige nøglebox, kunne måske være tydeligere afmærket. Heldigvis blev vi guidet af udlejeren.

Quiet part of the city, shops and bars within walking distance..Fluent communication from landlord with easy check in and check out process. Everything you need from the accommodation as you’ll be exploring the majority of the time.

Mazin was very helpful, the flat is in an excellent location and has everything you need for your stay. We enjoyed staying there, if we ever come back to Edinburgh, Mazin will be our first choice. Highly recommended!

The flat is spacious and clean, has wifi and is in an excellent location. I had to raise a few relatively minor issues with the property manager but communications were good as they were with the booking process and pre-entry

Great Location, needs a refresh!

We recently took a short family trip to Edinburgh. The location of the apartment was excellent — close to everything we needed and easy to get around. The place was clean, and communication with the host was good throughout our stay.However, the apartment is in need of a major renovation and felt too small for even three adults. The kitchen equipment could use an upgrade, no coffee maker, etc…and the mattress in the main bedroom urgently needs replacing for a more comfortable stay.Overall, great location and host communication, but the property itself would benefit from significant updates.

Nice stay

Perfectly situated to explore Edinburgh, even on foot. House and flat are quite old, which is part of the charm. Everything was in working order, it was wonderfully quiet at night. The host was really good, any questions were answered immediately. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great location

Great area for us. Near a few convenient bus stops. Had some great walks including the hike to Arthur’s Seat. Not mentioned is that there is a slight Edinburgh Castle view from the kitchen and small bedroom. Quiet neighborhood. Would stay here again!

Nous avons reçu de très bonnes instructions pour trouver l'appartement. Ce dernier est très bien placé vis-à-vis du centre ville.L'appartement manque en revanche cruellement d'entretien. Le proprietaire cherche à réparer son appartement via les dépôts de garantie. Il nous a été demandé de payer les trous occasionnés par une barre de rideau mal fixée car pas d'emploi de chevilles pour fixation dans le placo. Une barre de rideau certainement déja cassée auparavent et discrètement remise en place par d'autres voyageurs. Heureusement, nous avons evité le pire. Cette barre aurait pu tomber sur la tête. Mais pas d'inquiétude pour le propriétaire, il est prêt à dire que vous avez joué à tarzan avec mais il ne cherchera en au un cas de savoir si tout le monde va bien. L'argent avant tout. Nous aurions dû repositionner la barre comme ont dû faire beaucoup de personnes vu qu'il n'y a pas réel suivi de l'appartement au vu de l'état.Les joints de salle de bains ne sont plus bons et l'extraction d'air n'a jamais fait l'objet d'un nettoyage. C'est dommage de rester sur une mauvaise note alors qu'en soit, l'appartement est agréable. Reste maintenant à régler le problème de frais supplementaires pour faire les travaux. Logement à prix correct mais rattrapé d'une autre façon.Si l’application fonctionnait correctement j'aurai fait profiter tout le monde d'une magnifique liste de photos avec les differents désordres.

Parking was an issue, bed was not very comfortable. Pillow was horrible. We booked it for 3 people and was only given 2 sets of towels. Could be a very cute place but was in desperate need of some TLC, especially the furniture

Great Location, That's About It

Great access to old town,a 10 minute walk across the Meadows and through the uni campus, but that is the only positive aspect. Listing is inaccurate, no parking available (if you want to pay 30 or more per day), no BBQ, no access to back yard, we used the tiny clothes rack in the unit to dry, unit is not accessible as it is on the 3rd floor which involves climbing 60 stairs to access. The floor in the unit is in terrible condition, I had to try and hammer in multiple nails that were popping up so that we could walk without injury, there were 2 that came out every time you stepped on their board. The mattress on the main bed has springs that have popped out making it very lumpy. The towel rack does not have an adjustable heat setting and is scalding hot and literally in the space you need to be in to access the sink, which pretty much makes touching it at some point inevitable, we took to draping the few towels we were provided with over every inch of surface that we could. The shower valve is beyond a state of repair, trying to get any sort of a decent temperature is a guess and test game as the internal working basically spin freely so there is no way to know where they are really set to. The shower itself has visible mold/ mildew on the caulking and the glass panel is hanging on by a thread. Kitchen window opens up sideways at knee height with a 30 foot fall with no safety barrier. Entire unit needs a significant overhaul.

Un appartement à 15min du centre avec un trajet agréable au travers des Meadows. Literie de qualité très confortable et équipements utiles. Un masque pour les yeux est toutefois pertinent pour la grande chambre pour dormir longtemps.

Spring stay

Staying a second time around definitely was a great decision. My stay at this lovely little flat was ideal for a getaway while doing some site seeing and having quiet time to catch up on work. I highly recommend.

Ideal location for our needs but…

That was about it. The fridge was clean and that and the radiator quickly warming up were the only redeeming highlights of the flat. Disappointed by everything else. Normally, I am easy going and do not criticise. I would not recommend this ever. The whole flat needed a makeover. Very drafty (kitchen window could not be closed securely and blew open in the night.). Bedding was cleaned but with some permanent staining. Main mattress was uneven so a challenge to lie flat and, therefore have a good night sleep (my son was competing at a national sporting event all weekend). Bathroom had some mildew around shower that needed re-caulking. Kitchen sink water was at best warm. Oven was dirty. So did not use. I came prepared to cook for my athlete. We ended up eating out more than I wanted. Pots and pans mismatched, stained (could not scour clean) and fry pans we needing throwing out. No matching cutlery.

Afluent conservation area low trafic flow with speed limit of 20M/hr, close to Medows Parks where facilities for sports and recreation available. on the corner of the street yeards from the flat the Famour Victor Hugo cafe/resteurant with outdoor sitting areas on the meadows .beautifull in spring and summer and festival and seasons times.
