Lovely apartment for our first night in Scotland. We had everything that we needed and enjoyed the snacks that welcomed us! We couldn't have asked for anything else, besides maybe staying a few more nights! Highly recommend and will stay with again!

Quick Edinburgh stay

This was our last stop on our way out of Scotland. It had great amenities, clean and great location.

Great Stay

It was great staying here. The fresh flowers and the basket of goodies were a great welcome. Would recommend anyone to stay here.

Great location with important details missing

Initially the owner was very engaged, allowed us in slightly early. Very clean upon first impression. Said it was on the main (first floor) which we assumed meant little to no steps - apparently in Scotland this means the second floor - had to lug heavy luggage up a big set of steps. Wish this would have been disclosed in the description. Apartment life gets busy very early in the morning - neighbors are loud - doors banging. No fans to drown out the noise. My biggest complaint is two out of three days we had no hot water. The water situation should be disclosed in the description - you get 2 "medium" showers and then it takes 3 hours to reheat. First day after our cold showers the owner found the heater had "tripped". It worked the next day and then last day no hot water again. Emailed the owner after leaving as we needed to travel to next destination and have not heard a word back from her which is disappointing. Beds have no box springs and are very squeaky - every move wakes you up. Overall, great location - close to train station, grocery stores and a couple of decent restaurants. I just wish the owner would be honest surrounding the hot water situation. Next VRBO was in the country and had on demand hot water and you could count on hot water anytime and for however long you need so I don't necessarily think the situation here is a Scotland thing.

Excellent base to explore Edinburgh and surrounding area

The property was really clean and tidy, comfortable and well stocked. It was lovely to go somewhere where all the small details had been thought through. So many times we have been away and things like bottle openers or a grater are missing. Was super chuffed that necessities had been provided as coming straight after Xmas we were going to forget something.....which we did and there it was some shampoo and conditioner and a hair dryer. Thoughtful welcome hamper with some lovely goodies. Would highly recommend. The one thing we would change is the door on second bedroom. The frosted glass is fine for a family of small children but we were away with my 23 year old son and if he had brought his girlfriend it wouldn't have been okay.

We used this property while walking the Fife Coastal Path (FCP) and it was perfect for our needs - lovely flat, good parking, and great location - right on the FCP.

Great Stay by the Bay

We would have loved to stay longer, but still really enjoyed our one night. The spot gave us easy access to both Edinburgh and Dunfermline and it was great to spend some time birdwatching down at the water’s edge with Oystercatchers, Eiders and a Curlew! The welcome basket was greatly appreciated!

Holiday let

Good communication from the owner at all times. Nice welcome package when we arrived. Only issue is that the sliding bedroom door should be changed for more privacy. Still enjoyed the stay.

Julie was wonderful.

Our host was wonderful. She was responsive to all of our needs. A basket with goodies welcomed weary travelers. This was our last night in Scotland. The accommodations were very nice, well decorated, including comfortable beds. Thank you Julie!!

Amazing apartment

We absolutely loved the location of the apartment. Perfect location for getting in and out of Edinburgh which we did on the train and drove. We also had a local day and the views are just fantastic. The apartment itself is lovely and modern and very clean. Julie was so easy to talk too and helped us with a few requests. Can not recommend this apartment enough. You will not be disappointed. Fantastic Property

Fabulous stay! The location is perfect and close to the train to go into Edinburgh. The property was beautiful, quiet, and the welcome basket was perfect. The neighborhood has beautiful views and walking paths. We would definitely stay here again. Julie was fantastic hostess and answered all our questions about the area.

Happy and satisfied family!!

Lovely property. Clean, well laid out. And no fuss parking. Julie was very helpful when she handed over our keys etc. Property in excellent location. Close to train station, park and ride and all other amenities. We all couldn’t have been happier and will definitely return next year.
