Perfect week!

The positives: perfect location, breathtaking views, close to snorkeling, an ice cream shop in the building, and did I say perfect location? The could have been better: not very clean (not nasty, just needs a thorough deep cleaning), condo is very dated and needs a facelift, Overall: would definitely recommend. We enjoyed ourselves the entire time!

Cart Tires are Flat

The tires were flat on the carts and the check in process was painful in that no one was ever present at the lobby desk. Our stay was wonderful other than that.

Sharona provided excellent customer service and made sure that all issues were corrected. The condo could use some more kitchen items. I had to buy my own spatula to cook breakfast. Overall, condo was nice.

Seascape offers 1/2 off on beach chair rentals but the chairs that you get the 1/2 off deal is down the beach nowhere in front of the building and they couldn’t be reserved for each day you stay. Everything was great other than the mattress is needing an up grade and the tubs are old. The drains didn’t drain fast enough the tubs hold a 3 inches of water while you shower.

Vacation in ruins

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was clean and located directly across from the beach. It was an a comfortable condo with all amenities needed. However, after spending over $400 dollars for groceries the refrigerator stopped working the first day. After many attempts to contact management, they finally delivered a small temporary refrigerator 2 days after requesting a replacement. At that point i lost over $300 dollars due to spoiled food. They promised a new one would be delivered within 24 hours, but it never showed up to the day we checked out. I was never compensated for this loss. all communication with management clearly lacked any sort of priority.

If bare minimum were a condo

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is in an excellent location but unless you plan to sleep on the balcony, look elsewhere. We literally called about the a/c for five out of seven nights and it was never fixed. The stand alone a/c that we were promised never happened. Standing water in the tubs due to excessive hair in the drains. Gross. Furniture and bedding is old and not what I would expect for the price we paid. Headboards were not attached to the beds properly so we had to put pillows between them and the wall in two of three rooms. This is our second stay at Majestic Sun and we love the convenience of the location but we will absolutely NOT rent or recommend this unit. We have used Seascape Vacation Rentals for five years but it may be time to move on. They didn’t seem very concerned with the issues we called about and they need to encourage the owner of this unit to do some serious repairs and updates.

*BEWARE* - Condo is VERY dirty

That being said, the condo is DISGUSTING. The floors are obviously never mopped. There's sand everywhere and your feet are BLACK 2 minutes after stepping out of the shower. The drains are stopped up, so you shower in a 4 inches of water. Walls are GROSS & bedding is dirty. Oh and one of the elevators was broken. That was FANTASTIC while trying to check out July 4th weekend. It took 45 minutes to get to the ground level. AVOID THIS CONDO UNLESS YOU LIKE FILTH.

Reviewer Comments: This is our 3rd year returning to the resort and it did not disappoint other than there only being 2 working elevators instead of 3. But the unit needs some TLC. Broken blinds just shoved behind a chair. Balcony door didn’t lock off of master bedroom. Food in the bottom of the dishwasher. Desperately needs a deep clean, baseboards were thick with dirt where the cleaning has just been rushed through. Overall disappointed when compared to the other units we have stayed in.

My only complaint was we found a mug in the cabinet with sometype of food left in it and the pots could use replacing as some of them that we needed did not have covers to fit them. The elevators at the Majestic were really slow and always crowded. I would stay here again, overall it was a very nice place right across the street from the beach with a great view.

Shower curtains had black mold on them, there weren’t ample amenities (no soap in bathroom or kitchen) and appliances clearly needed replacing.

Seascape always had a great reputation, so we decided to stay in the Majestic Sun for the first time. Loved the location, check in & out was simple...But...The condo was very dirty. (One example) The bathrooms had hair and dust mopped into the corners by the baseboard...mold in the tub caulking...mold on the baseboard outside the tub...and mildew on the inside of the shower curtain. It was nasty. We decided not to report it till after we left simply because we did not think the cleaning crew that didn't do their job correctly the first time was very unlikely to do it properly the second time. Besides...we were on vacation. Who wants to deal with that sort of **** when we were paying $$ to have fun!I was not planning to do a review. Instead I sent an email with photos to them yesterday. But you asked for a review....this was the truth of our stay. Would never stay there again. (If you want...I can send the photos to you as well.)

We were disappointed with the condition and cleanliness of the condo. I was expecting a better experience for the cost. Overall, the condo was shabby, the floors were not clean, the baseboards were filthy. We had 2 broken faucets, one was fixed. We called and were told someone would come and mop, no one showed up. We were accused of trying to get maid service.

Do Not Book Here - Poorly Maintained & Filthy

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at different units throughout the Majestic Sun for the past 5 years and this was the WORST experience we have ever had. When we arrived on Saturday, 3/18, the unit was filthy - dirty walls, food remnants, dirty linens, etc. I spent the first couple hours of my vacation trying to clean what was not touched by the cleaning crew. Furthermore, the unit has been very neglected. Cabinets are chipped, the furniture was black from not being cleaned, broken list could go on. The pictures posted on the website are VERY deceiving and we will never book with Seascape again.

The Worse Condo Ever

Dog hair EVERYWHERE in the laundry room. On the top of the dryer. The dryer was full of dog hair inside also. The floor was never mopped. Kitchen counter had dog hair on it. Toilet seat is broken. The furniture is horrible. My aunt open the sofaa bed she had to close it back up and throw some sheet on top bc that was broken!! They only had hand and bath towels NO big towels at all. We called and never gotten any. Then they send someone up that Saturday evening to clean well that’s kinda late bc we leave out Sunday morning!! But I see why that’s why it was the only Condo available it horrible with OLD furniture. We were not satisfied with this condo. We done stayed at the Majestic Sun numerous of times. And never experienced NOTHING like this 😡😡

Didn’t plan to do housework on vacation. • Rental location?Rental was in the perfect location if it was in better condition.• Home clean and in good shape?First impression was not exciting when opening the door and half the blind on the sliding glass door are missing or broke. Looked real welcoming! I swept up a mound of sand - couldn’t go barefooted due to the dirty floors (black feet).Room with 2 beds – A/C has no air flow from the vent “HOT ROOM”. Purchased a fan to circulate air into the room for a little comfort. Checked the unit to find that the filter had not been changed out. The filter was 2” in dirt and dust. Purchased a filter for the unit to try to help with cooling off the bedrooms. (No Luck!)Room with 1 bed – Toilet wouldn’t flush – figured out why the plunger set next to the toilet. Master Bedroom – closet is full of broken blinds and rotten area rug. Closet Stunk! Master Bathroom – Sink Leaked into the cabinet on to my blower dryer and hot irons.Kitchen – Stove was dirty with food from last guest –had to clean it. Garbage disposal shot stuff up out of the other sink making a huge mess.This unit had 4 TVs in it and only 1 to worked (4 kids wanting to watch TV).• Management staff?No need to check in!! I checked in requesting 3 vehicle passes – arrived with only 1 pass. Called the staff - FIRST call said they would get them to us. We didn’t get the passes by 5’sh I contacted them back for the SECOND time the girl was rude. She wanted me to come get the passes from the office – no time to deliver them. I REFUSED to get them due to it was my vacation and I did what was requested of me and they didn’t follow through. Passes were delivered.I would really like to talk wit
