A lovely property and such a nice quiet getaway in the countryside. One of the best places we have stayed. Super comfortable and all the amenities. We were so comfortable here we rarely left and enjoyed the surrounding area. We rode our bikes from the house most everyday which was lovely. Close enough to Annecy to enjoy the lake and restaurants, but far enough to not be caught up in the traffic. The hosts, John and MaryElla were amazing. Such nice touches as fresh roses in the living room and homemade grade jelly from the grapevines covering the patio!!!! The inside and outside space was so comfortable and inviting. We were sad to leave. Hoping to see you again next year.

Lovely location and home.

We loved our stay here. It was perfect for us with easy access to the cycle path and a fab bakery at the bottom of the hill. The house was spotless and we loved sitting out on a morning and evening with the mintsin views. John and Mariella were on hand had we needed them but everything was perfect so hardly saw them. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic flat in a great location with great hosts

My first thought was that the pictures in the add do not even come close to showing how lovely the flat and garden are. The flat was spotless, had everything you can possible need and the host had even started the fire for us when we arrived. John was always available for any advice we needed during our stay. We were able to easily locate local shops, a vet for the dog and rubbish disposal. Would love to stay here again one day!

Highly recommended

Just returned from a wonderful week in this beautiful part of France. John and Mariella's house was beyond expectations, it's warm, cosy, comfortable, quiet but near all the 'attractions'. A house where both the kids as ourselves felt at home immediately. We had the "problem" that snow and sun conditions made us want to go skiing everyday (espace Diamand area), so we didn't see much of the other cities like Annecy, but we hope to come back for that!

Marvelous Experience

You wake up in the morning and enjoy your coffee looking at gorgeous mountains and listening to the birds sing. This property is in a quiet little quaint town where you can relax and forget the stresses of life. The hosts live across the street and are ready and willing to help in every way be it directions, hiking advice or supplying a magnifying glass so that we can read fine print! This is our third visit to this cottage, and I can't imagine a better place to spend a holiday. It is my little piece of heaven on earth.

Yet another perfect 14 nights in the cosy cottage. Love this accommodation so much, it’s perfectly situated to explore the beautiful area, yet far enough away from the business of Annecy. Thanks John and Mariella for another perfect holiday!

Perfect!

First off, Mariella and John are fabulous hosts who are committed to you having a fabulous experience. The house itself is very comfortable and has everything you need, from great wifi to that kitchen gadget. Lots of windows that open and light inside when the weather is nice, but cozy in the rain. Lots of outdoor sitting/dining areas also. The quiet village setting creates this wonderful ambience and there are a number of fantastic walks you can do right from your front door that give you great mountain views. Or walk to the great village bakery. We are repeat visitors for many reasons!

Very pleasant escape

The setting of this house is amazing. In a hamlet, you can walk out the front door and go for a hike up the mountain. The air is fresh and clean. There is no noise. The house is a good size for 2 to 4 people (2 bedrooms). The owners live across the street, and are extremely attentive and respectful of space. Highly recommended.
