Great option for families

Sadly we had to depart! Unit is great, spacious kitchen that is fully equipped. Large bedrooms and beautiful Mountain View’s. The resort is right on the beach. Nice pools, and Dukes on-site is a bonus!

Great Hawaiian getaway

We are so glad we chose this resort. The resort is perfect. Villa has everything you need, underground parking and great location to dining options to walk to. We loved the boardwalk for our morning walks. Snorkeling was also amazing right in front of the resort!

Great stay perfect location

We stayed at the Hokulani for a week at the end of October beginning of Nov. The rooms and bathrooms were great, beds comfortable. It was very clean. They had many kitchen tools however we didn’t cook there. The patio was nice. We used the beach and facilities which were one of the nicest we visited and so convenient. The room has chairs, umbrella and cooler which came in handy! And the resort offers beach towels. Close to Whalers Village which was nice and could walk across the street for coffee and the Times Market. We would stay there again for sure!

Great time :)

We had a very good time at Honua Kai. Our unit was clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, and the washer/dryer are a plus. The pools are great and the beach is beautiful, good for snorkeling but not so much for swimming. The boardwalk was a nice treat and we enjoyed being able to go on family walks after dinner. The resort is located near (walking distance) to a grocery store, food truck park and has a convenience/gift shop with a lot of useful items. Staff was always friendly and polite.

Nice resort, but crowded

The resort is nice, restaurant on site is nice. No chance in getting a lounge chair by the pool unless you camp out at 7:30am. No water pressure(couldn't even shower) one morning that we had breakfast reservations, notified KBM, no response. Heard it was an issue for quite a few units that morning. We enjoyed ourselves, but some definite frustrations.

Amazing Stay

We had the best time! The property is amazing-clean, a small market is available at the resort, and the condo was perfect! It’s spacious and had everything we needed for an amazing week in paradise. The beach was a little rough at times, so we didn’t spend much time in it with our kids (2 and 4). The kids loved the pools and we spent most of our mornings lounging and swimming. No complaints!

This is a great property.

This is a great location and property. we were glad glad to see that a they were updating the property. updating the painting the exterior looks nice however I hope they do the same with the common area carpets and walls needs a little TLC. but overall great experience.

Beautiful Condo and Location

Booking, communicating, check in was prompt and smooth. The condo had all that we needed - kitchen ware, 3 large bathrooms with plenty of towels and a w/d. Also plenty of seating in living and dining areas. We loved the lanai and had the perfect seat for nightly sunsets. Bonus: beach towels included along with beach chairs and lots of quality boogie boards. The grounds are pretty, staff is friendly and the location is close to several beaches, restaurants and shopping. Easy to get in and out with underground parking. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return. One con: condo is right above a pool which leaves any quiet moments on the lanai to very early mornings or very late nights, however; it wasn’t ever overly loud. (We heard no noise from the pool when the lanai doors were closed.) Condo was clean, well kept, and had all the amenities we needed. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and mahalo to the islanders who welcomed us so graciously.

Family trip

Not a lot of kitchen necessities at this property. With Covid we did a lot of cooking at home. No potholders, crappy pot and pan selection. Not a lot of platters, large bowls. No aluminum foil, baggies...etc. wasted a lot of money buying what we needed. Stayed at other properties there and they were stocked much better. Also property was a little old. Dirty drapes in bedrooms.
