This was one of the best experiences we’ve had with a vacation rental property. The hosts were very responsive and provided proactive information about Maui on things to do during our vacation and continued to provide recommendations while we were there! The condo is very well stocked with all essentials needed to make our vacation relaxing and worry free! You also have access to all resort amenities which is also a great bonus such as pool towels, fitness center, and more. When we come back to Maui, this will be the only place we stay at!

Everything about our stay was wonderful. Randy’s recommendations were so helpful. Dukes was a short walk. The condo was very well stocked and exceptionally clean. The bed was so comfortable. If we ever have an opportunity to return to Maui we definitely will stay here again. Thanks for the memories!

This condo was very clean and well-stocked. It felt like home away from home, and we had everything we needed.I hesitate to put this in the review because this was only possible since there wasn’t anyone checking in the same day we were checking out, but it really helped end our Maui vacation on a high note. Randy and Mary surprised us with a later check out time since we were taking a red eye. It was so much easier to entertain our young children at the resort than if we had to do it out of our car all day.Overall, we loved everything about our stay and would love to stay here again on our next Maui vacation. Randy and Mary are fantastic hosts and a wealth of information! P.S. That ocean view is even more beautiful in person.

This is the second time we have stayed here and it’s was as beautiful as the first. Randy and Mary are exceptional hosts who put a lot of thought and care into making our stay great. The lay out of their home is perfect with views in the living area and bedroom that both lead out to a wonderful lanai. The beach is right in front of you to swim walk or just relax. Beach chairs were also there for our use. Loved our stay and we will be back!

Loved the cleanliness & layout of the condo, and ocean view was fantastic!! The grounds were picturesque and well taken care of! The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils/ small appliances and obviously stove and refrigerator,had our breakfast every morning on the balcony with the view of the ocean,Dukes food and ambiance was great!! Appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella that came with condo supplies!Loved all of Randy/Mary recommendations for grocery shopping,restaurants,activities, etc, made for a very memorable trip,would seriously consider another trip in the future at the same condo!!

Perfect in every way

Great location for dinners on front street, snorkeling around black rock and shopping at whalers village. Great beachfront for the snorkelers and the ocean swimmers. Awesome pool access and can’t go wrong with Dukes restaurant on the property! Amazing stay!

I have never had a VRBO host like you two. The details were impeccable from the martini shaker, to the beach chairs, to the coolers. All your emails and suggestions were amazing. I truly have never seen so many details. And thank YOU for supplying true non stick pans for cooking! We had an amazing time and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets on your lanai every single night. We cannot thank you guys enough for your hospitality and understanding through all of the covid speed bumps. Our trip was planned 2 yrs ago and with the help of you, we were finally able to enjoy it. Wonderful stay! Fantastic ocean view. Comfortable beds including pull out coach. Well equipped kitchen to cook meals at the condo, great beach equipment (4 chairs / 2 boogie boards), and plenty of extras like paper towels, plastic bags, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies etc. extra towels, sheets. Great communication from owner Randy.

From the very beginning, communication was immediate and continued throughout our stay. Randy was great about sharing recommendations on places to visit and things to do. The Fish Market is definitely a must try. The place itself is beautiful and perfect. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the kitchen and living room were perfect size and the lanai was one of our favorite spots with views of the ocean, trees, and wildlife. Opening the wall-to-wall lanai doors and hearing the birds chirping while feeling the island breeze was everything we hoped for.Another huge bonus is that they truly think of everything from beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, baby floaters, towel clips, and more are all provided so there’s no need worry about buying or renting anything.The staff on the property were amazing. Valet was friendly every day, even when they had to work during a pretty significant storm, and the maintenance crew worked incredibly hard to clean everything up while still greeting guests with a smile.The location is perfect as you can walk right onto the beach and it’s only a short walk to shops and restaurants.If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway, this is absolutely the place to stay. I highly recommend booking with Randy at MauiNutsRandy. We will definitely be back!

Great stay!

The unit was very clean and well appointed. It faces a small beach access road lined with trees and we enjoyed opening the doors in the morning to all the bird songs. The owners provide lots of great advice on things to do which we appreciated. The pools were great and we were always able to find open lounge chairs (November).

Great place - highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time staying at Randy and Mary's place. The resort had all the amenities we needed. It was clean and the staff was extremely friendly. Easy access to pools on the property and the beach. Randy and Mary were extremely helpful and gave us an incredible amount of information about the area. Definitely a return location!

Wonderful Honua Kai Stay

My husband and I stayed at Randy and Mary's property at Honua Kai for our 25th wedding anniversary. What a beautiful condo and in a perfect location overlooking the ocean! Our hosts thought of everything- from making recommendations about restaurants, day trips, shopping, snorkeling to gifting us a bottle of champagne to celebrate, the communication could not have been better. We would highly recommend this property!

Generous hosts

The hosts are amazing! Before even getting to the island the hosts provide all the recommendations you could need from restaurants to snorkeling to hikes and more. They ensure you experience the best the island has to offer and their love of the island shows through. We look forward to booking 544 again.

Great Host! Amazing Condo!

Condo is everything that is described. The owners graciously provide the little thing that most other condo owners seem to not. I highly recommend this condo. We will be rebooking this room in the future. I cannot say enough good things about the condo.

We have been in the hotel restaurant business for the last 30 years in Plymouth Michigan. We met while working in a 4 star fine dining private club and have been together ever since. Now retired, we previously owned an extended stay hotel and a grand ballroom banquet facility specializing in wedding receptions.
