Home had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Comfortable furniture and beds, a well equipped kitchen and a great location. Joe was very responsive and helpful answering our many questions and offering solid advice about eateries and activities.

We had such a nice time, and weren’t ready to leave! The duplex was perfect, and the view was just beautiful. Host was super helpful when I missed the memo about the optional linen service. We would absolutely vacation here again!

Very pleasant stay!

Comfortable rooms with two bathrooms. Beautiful views, especially from upstairs bedroom. Conveniently located near eateries and small shops, and Assateague Island. We love Chincoteague, so this was a very pleasant stay!

Beautiful sunrises

The house is the perfect size, and love the spot. Screened porch with table and upper deck off the master bedroom is awesome. Very enjoyable home to stay at. Love how close it is to the Park also.

Wonderful Place

The location and accommodations where wonderful! Nice wetland views and close to the bridge to Assateague Island National Wildlife Refuge. The place was clean and we received a quick response and resolution to a question we had for the owner. We would definitely stay there again.

Tranquility for days!

We had a lovely time at the house on our way down south. The rooms look EXACTLY like the photos. The location is perfect to explore the area and check out the ponies in the park. Most places in the area were closed in the winter but that just made it more private and cozy. Thank you for welcoming our dog, Rosie, too!

Wonderful stay

We love staying here in the off season, it sits at the end of a dead end, one lane road and is very quiet during the winter. Beautiful views of the creek and marsh directly behind the house. We saw deer and fox as well as a variety of waterfowl. Very clean as well!

Gorgeous property

This is a cute house in a beautiful location. We were very comfortable. I was a little taken aback at having to pay extra for linens and towels but everything else was excellent. Communication with the host was great.

Just love it there. I'm at ease and so relaxed. My favorite part is the view and all the wildlife!!! I sat on the deck for hours. One morning I caught the sunrise and watched all the herons come in over the property (I was on the top deck) right over me to get to the creek. So amazing! we will be back.

Great stay at Tranquil Shores

We had a beautiful long weekend at Tranquil Shores. House was very comfortable for 6 adults and we loved being able to bring our dog. Spent most of our time on the screened in patio, which was perfect for dining and wildlife watching. Very convenient location and home was very clean and well stocked. Would definitely stay again!

Much needed time away

This time of year was the best for me. Quiet, relaxing, comfortable. Was able to do a lot of sight-seeing, local shopping without all the hassle of everyday life at home and work. Cannot wait to return. Both my sister and I had the best time, we visited without interruption, laughed, cried and made very special memories. We celebrated her birthday on Saturday, and I cannot think of a better place to do it. This was my first visit, but it certainly will not be the last. This is one of her favorite places and now I know why.

Cute House with water views

Excellent house with everything you need. Great deck and screened room for bird watching and water views. Everything was comfy and plenty of room. Had a great relaxing stay. Close to the Beach and ponies. Very clean and host answers back quickly! And Roku tv ❤️🤩

We have been visiting Chincoteague with our family for years and just adore the island. We purchased our first home on the island in 2014 and at the time really tackled with whether to buy that home or this home. We were visiting the island with friends and saw this on the market again and we were still emotionally attached and just took the plunge!
