Cozy little cottage in the heart of beautiful Staithes. The cottage is smart and modern, if a little smaller than the pictures made it look. Communication and check in was easy - parking is abit of an issue if we have young children/dogs etc.

Clean and tidy nicely decorated with comfy beds. Well equipped kitchen. Amazing location near to the beach just wild and beautiful. There is an open fire but no fuel provided, we would have paid extra to have that in place on arrival. Heating is easy to work and made our stay cosy. Would recommend and would visit again.

Great base to explore from

The cottage is in a fantastic location in the heart of Staithes. It’s literally 20 seconds walk to the harbour. Being so close to the harbour it was easy to park there and get everything into the cottage without a problem. Staithes is quirky, you should read up about it before deciding to stay there. This isn’t an issue with the property but could detract from your stay if you were unaware of it. The spec of the property is excellent and never once felt like it was missing something. It’s finished to a high standard. We got to watch the sunrise in the summer solstice from the harbour ( and the sunset a few hours earlier). This will be a break that we won’t forget for all the right reasons.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We’re thrilled to hear you had such a memorable stay and that the cottage’s location and finish exceeded your expectations. Staithes is indeed a truly unique and special place — we’re so glad you appreciated its character and charm, and that you took full advantage of the incredible setting. Watching both the sunset and the sunrise on the summer solstice sounds absolutely magical! It’s lovely to know the cottage had everything you needed and that it helped make your break so enjoyable. We'd be delighted to welcome you back anytime.
