Andover apartment

This property provided us with a perfect base for exploring the fascinating history of the area. It was well managed and clean with very comfortable beds, a new shower room and kitchen and bright and airy. The area appeared a little rundown but it was conveniently close to the town centre with a good choice of local eating places and an excellent Chinese takeaway. Car parking was free after 4pm and all day Sunday. The apartment is on the third floor, a good climb with cases, but a safe, quiet town centre refuge. Would recommend as a place to stay.

A shame

The property is well appointed and equipped, but unfortunately there are two clubs opposite and loud music was playing outside till 3am Friday and Saturday night so avoid those nights.

The bustling High Street with its twice-weekly markets, supermarkets, banks and the modern Chantry Shopping Centre is just a 2-minute walk away.
Enjoy live shows at The Lights theatre, discover local history at Andover Museum, or follow the Time Ring trail along the River Anton. Peaceful walks await at Anton Lakes Nature Reserve and Rooksbury Mill (both under 10 minutes by car). Families love Finkley Down Farm, while Stonehenge, Winchester and Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey) are easy day trips.
Andover station, with direct trains to London Waterloo (70 mins) and Salisbury, is a short walk away. Everything you need for a relaxing or adventurous Hampshire stay is right here!
