A beautiful stone cottage house high up in the mountains, a quiet neighborhood with Italian charm.

We cooked dinner almost every night in the house, mostly because of a lot of allergies. We had everything we needed, and had dinner togheter in the kitchen.

Great place to relax in the Tuscan hills

The apartment was perfect for our spring trip with two families. We ended up spending most of our time in the large kitchen, cooking delicious Italian meals.The atmosphere and the view from the apartment is magical. The village itself is beautiful but very small and quite remote. A great place for quiet time with family and friends. We would gladly come back!

Relaxing and private.

A lovely home away from home. Very relaxing. Clean and well maintained. The hosts are very gracious. Check yhe weather and if it's to be cool and rainy, dress accordingly.

Beautiful relaxing villa

This lovely villa gave us a real taste of Tuscany. We cooked, relaxed and enjoyed the views. There was room for all of us to have our own space, but also share dinners and conversations. The kitchen had everything we needed to do some real Tuscan dinners.

A wonderful and relaxing stay in the mountains

We spent four days at Casa Terra in Boveglio. The place was amazing. It had its own fireplace and a wonderful kitchen. The view from the balcony and most of the rooms is spectacular, as the house is situated on a mountainside. Luca was an amazing host, who gave us great suggestions for sightseeing and restaurants nearby. Highly recommended.

View from the top

We really enjoyed our stay. Very picturesque setting after we had driven up the winding road to the home. Very neat and clean and full of antique furniture which went well with the area. Beautiful patio areas with fruit trees and flowers. Plenty of space for our family of 6. Highly recommend

Great place and very authentic. It’s the real deal! However, it’s a bit remote.

I absolutely loved it, but my wife and daughter where not as thrilled! I would buy the place, but I would be staying there alone:)

Stunning house in the true Tuscany

This was our second visit to this beautiful house. Lisa and Luca are a fantastic couple and so easy to deal with. The house is truely amazing. It is everything you imagine when you think of Tuscany and boveglio is a gorgeous little village close to bagni di lucca for supplies and wine. I would recommend this place to anyone

Casa terra is wonderful

We loved to stay at casa terra. It is a beautiful house with everything that we needed. The fireplace gives it a very cozy touch and warms the house also on rainy days. The house is placed in the mountains and in a cute small village with a lot of cats. In the valley we could find all we needed, supermarket and pharmacy e.g.. Lucca is a beautiful city but also visiting Florence, Siena, Pisa and Levorno was possible from our place. The hosts are wonderful people and asked whether we needed anything and gave us all the information we needed. Loved it! Would recommend :)

Great cosy house!

The house was exactly as we imagined it. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain during our stay. This led to minor problems with the roof. The owner always tried to solve the problems very quickly. The location on the mountain is... well... no internet, hardly any radio on the drive to the house... you have to know that. Cities like Pisa or Florence can be reached quickly. We enjoyed our stay despite the bad weather!

Pictures tell the truth

In the beginning I was a bit skeptical as other experiences from other users with FeWo were not too good and the payment procedure is not customer orientated and the information about the owner was very thin. In addition the communication with the owner was not as smooth as I thought. Finnally, however, everything worked out very well. The house was exactly like on the picture and fuuly equiped; maybe just the WLAN was not always stable. The owner - Luca - was very friendly. I can recommend the place for people who like to take a time out in the middle of Italy in a quite authentic village away from tourists. If you want you can go downhill to the hot beaches or the cultural places in Lucca and Florence or just enjoying the cool, peaceful breath of the montains.

Beautiful historic home high in the mountains

We were 4 women traveling in Italy. This Boveglio property is located in a tiny village up in the mountains. The first time up the road is a bit daunting but you get used to it! The house has a panoramic view of the mountains and the plains below that is stunning. We each had our own beautiful bedroom which was special. There is a deck as well as garden areas in which to enjoy a glass of wine. Luca our host was amazing! So nice and very helpful. He gave us restaurant recommendations and checked in each day to make sure we were doing okay. He is perfecting his English but between English, French and Italian we had no trouble communicating. We, unfortunately did not have an opportunity to meet his wife Lisa. The house may seem far from everything but once you are off the mountain so much of Tuscany is within driving distance. We traveled to a winery south of Florence in about 90 minutes. It is also close to Pisa as well as the ocean. And don't miss Collodi, the home of the Pinocchio author. Touristy but quaint. We traveled up the road to visit some more small villages and were surprised to find some rather large cities seemingly in the middle of nowhere. Great mountain views. We highly recommend this home for a stay.

Nette Wohnung

Die Wohnung war groß genug für uns alle (4 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder). 1 Raum war leider nicht bewohnbar weil er ziemlich muffig war. Der Spielplatz war leider gesperrt. Da hätten wir uns mit den kleinen Kindern gerne eine Info vorher gewünscht.Sonst Küche top, Bad top, Lage sehr schön aber abgelegen!

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt in einer liebevollen eingerichteten Wohnung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wer es sehr ruhig mag, der ist hier genau richtig. Im Ort gibt es leider keinen Laden oder Restaurant, aber in den nächsten Ortschaften gibt es sehr nette Lokale und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Vermieterin war auch sehr nett und hilfsbereit und hat uns vor Ankunft alle Informationen zum Check-in gesendet und auch zwischendurch nachgefragt, wie es uns geht.

Typisch toskanische großzügige und gemütliche Wohnung

Wir, eine 6 köpfige Familie mit Kindern im Alter zwischen 16-22 Jahren haben hier in Boveglio im Haus "Casa sotto la Torre/ Terra" acht wunderbare Tage verbracht. Der Garten, der Balkon, die Schlafzimmer, das Wohnzimmer, die Küche....alles sehr gemütlich und mit italienisch/toskanischem Stil. Sehr schön!Was man wissen muss: die ist sehr hellhörig und das WLAN funktioniert nicht sonderlich gut im Haus (in Boveglio um Umgebung insgesamt schlecht), aber das war jetzt nicht ein großes Problem für uns.Die Betten waren sehr gemütlich, das Haus warm und einladend und alles sehr liebevoll hergerichtet und ausgestattet, auch die Küche.Boveglio ist ein toller Ausgangsort für Toskana-Ausflüge: wir waren am Meer, in Lucca, Pistoia, Pisa, Bagni di Lucca (bestes Restaurant dort besucht) und es war alles gut fahrbar. Boveglio selbst ist ein abgelegenes und ruhiges Nestchen. Für uns perfekt.Wir empfehlen es von Herzen weiter!Danke Lisa und Gery für diese tollen Tage in eurer bezaubernden Wohnung!Die Küche war bestens ausgestattet

Siamo stati ospiti di questa struttura in occasione del Lucca Comics. Bella struttura con panorama mozzafiato. Peccato per i vicini molto rumorosi al piano di sopra e assenza di segnale telefonico compensato in parte dalla connessine Wi-Fi molto efficace

Besondere Unterkunft!

Es war sehr sauber und in der Wohnung hat es an nichts gefehlt - Boveglio ist sehr weit weg vom Trubel - aber man erreicht alles gut. Der Vermieter war immer für uns erreichbar und hat uns mit Tipps zu Badestellen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten versorgt!

Tolle Wohnung mit atemberaubendender Aussicht

Wir haben die Wohnung für eine Woche gebucht und waren dort mit Kleinkind (1,5 Jahre) und Oma. Eine liebevoll eingerichtete und gut ausgestattete Wohnung, sehr sauber und ausreichend groß. Der zugehörige Außenbereich liegt im wunderschönen Garten, den man über einen kleinen Weg erreicht. Da dieser nicht direkt an der Wohnung anschloss, haben wir ihn nicht genutzt. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Perfekt eingerichtete Wohnung

unkomplizierte, nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter, sehr schöne Wohnung und alles da, was wir gebraucht haben. Wir haben viel gekocht und gebacken, weil Boveglio doch etwas abgelegen ist, und es hat nichts gefehlt.
