Elegant & beautifully renovated apartment of 90 sqm in the historic centre of Lucca situated on the walls of Piazza Anfiteatro, on the third and last floor. It has two large bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with a shower and the other with a bath) living-dining room, fireplace and a kitchen equipped with everything you need. Air conditioning in the rooms.

You will enjoy a breathtaking view of the Piazza Anfiteatro. The apartment has just been completely refurnished with a mix of antiques and contemporary Italian furniture, the majority of which has been sourced in Tuscany. In less than 2 minutes walk you can reach Guinigi Tower, S. Frediano’s church, the shopping street Via Fillungo, and the ancient walls surrounding the old town.

Excellent location. Clean. Host was very prompt with responses and professional. Definitely need to pack light to climb the 3 floors to the room. Anyone having difficulty climbing stairs should not consider this property. No shower on the main floor and served to be a problem for the people staying in the bedroom next to it. Second bedbroom also located on the second floor in the apartment and steep stairs to get to it. Overall great location.

Our stay at this amazing apartment in the historic district of Lucca was perfect! The apartment was homey & close to restaurants & shops in Lucca. The hosts were very accommodating, especially since we arrived later than expected. They were gracious in answering cultural questions throughout our stay. The best part was knowing that our grandfather had lived in the building prior to immigrating to the US over 100 years ago. If we're ever back in Lucca, we'll be sure to rebook. Grazie!

What a gem! Spacious apartment with a gorgeous view of Piazza dell'Anfiteatro! Comfortable beds, air conditioning and good wifi and 2 bathrooms.Our family was visiting Lucca for a wedding and we could not have asked for a more charming place for our family of four.Luciano was helpful - communicating with us prior to trip and during our stay. He even kindly ordered our taxi for us upon departure.*Definitely factor in that there are steps to climb if you are traveling with a lot of luggage or if you are traveling with babies or young children.

A lovely and well equipped apartment overlooking the busy Piazza. The kitchen window offers a glimpse of everyday life among the people in Lucca. The owners could not have been more charming and thoughtful. I thoroughly enjoyed my two week stay.

What a gem!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Piazza Anfiteatro. It's such a fun, lively place with plenty to do and lots of great restaurants. The apartment is well appointed and comfortable and Luciano was always easy to get in touch with. We stayed for 3 weeks and are already looking forward to going back!

Perfect location in Lucca

Luciano was a gracious host, very prompt to respond. The apartment is cozy and in a perfect location to wander Lucca. It has everything you need.i was not well while there but enjoyed watching all the action in the square from the window. The climb up to the apartment could be challenging for some people. We are seniors and it was worth the climb.Good restaurants on your doorstep, a supermarket within a few minutes walk and a small specialty store with fresh Italian food. (Cuccuri) Great homemade pasta and sauces.

Our New Favorite Italian City

I could barely pry my family from the lovely apartment on the Anfiteatro. Lucca is now our favorite Italian city, and the apartment had a great deal to do with that. Check-in was easy, location was perfect, and the apartment had everything we needed.

Amazing location

The property is well presented on 2 floors (upstairs 2 single beds and en-suite shower) large master bedroom with separate bathroom, it is immaculately clean and well equipped. The property overlooks the amphitheatre which is vibrant with restaurants and musicians. It is about as central as you can get within the walls of Lucca. We so enjoyed our stay and we book again for next year.

Apartment with a great view!

We had a great stay in this beautiful apartment with a great view on the piazza. It is steep to get up there but it is worth it! The apartment was clean and well equipped. You feel like you are in a home with a history yet everything functions well and is very comfortable. Luciano was helpful and quick to answer. Would highly recommend.

A lovely apartment, lovely owners

Our stay at this wonderful apartment was a delight. Louise was a gracious and accommodating host. The view from the apartment was incredible and was a great reward for taking on the stairs. When we come back to Lucca, this is where we would like to stay.

Perfect in every way!

I had an incredible time staying here. The hosts were gracious and informative. The home had everything you could need plus it was close to everything I wanted to visit. Perfectly set in the center of the Piazza dell'Anfiteatro; yet, from the bedroom everything was quiet and peaceful. The attention to detail and authentic Italian design and decor were exceptional. I will definitely stay here when I return to Lucca.

I Can’t Imagine a Better Place in Lucca!

Not only was the property impeccable and well-located directly on the Anfiteatro, but the friendliness and thoroughness of Luciano’s check-in process added so much to the experience. Lovely Apartment Overlooking the Amphitheater

Had a lovely stay in Luciano's clean, well stocked apartment overlooking the historic amphitheater. Enjoyed watching the buskers entertain from our 5th floor window. These historic buildings have no elevators, so be prepared for some exercise. Wonderful location, minutes from all the inner city sites.

Owner was very accomdating as to check in time. Window literally overlooks the amphitheatre. Beds were super comfortable, AC in both bedrooms, bathrooms were clean and you even have a laundry machine. Only warning is that its on the 3rd floor and the stairs arent even, so if you have mobility issues this wouldnt be for you. However, I will absolutely go back there again. Favorite place we stayed in Italy.

A Magical Place!

We stayed in this apartment in 2019! We enjoyed it so much that we decided to stay once again. The new owners were just marvelous. They went out of their way to help us with any questions, recommendations and even calling us a cab on our departure morning. They made several changes to the apartment which made it feel more spacious and comfortable. Looking out over the anfiteatro from our window was very special. Location is perfection in Lucca! Highly, highly recommend!

Great Anfiteatro Stay

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It is in a great location with a window overlooking the Anfiteatro. Luciano was great and helped us with our luggage on arrival. We needed it as the apartment is on the top floor with a lot of steep steps. The stairs looked daunting but we got used to them very quickly. Luciano was very nice and responded very quickly to all communications. The apartment is on 2 floors. On the first floor there are a small but well equipped kitchen, a dining /living area, a large bathroom and 1 large bedroom. A second bedroom and a small bathroom are up a short flight of stairs. Both bedrooms have air-conditioning. The upstairs bedroom was very quiet. The apartment was very clean and very comfortable for the 3 of us. We would certainly stay here again.

Amazing Lucca apartment!

We loved the town of Lucca and Luciano’s apartment! So convenient to most everything. He is a gracious host who was so helpful with the change in ownership. The apartment has everything one needs and we really felt immersed into the Lucca life.
