Villa Sebastiana A is a graceful apartment located in a picturesque neighborhood of Positano. It sleeps two people. From Villa Sebastiana A you will enjoy a spectacular view of Positano and of the sea at a distance. Villa Sebastiana A is 50 square meters (540 square feet). It features air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be approximately 500 meters (550 yards) from Positano, where you will find restaurants and shops. You will find a grocery store, the stop for the SITA bus Amalfi - Sorrento line and the stop for the Flavio Gioia bus interno Positano line a few meters (feet) away and the closest beach (Spiaggia Grande di Positano) at 1.5 km (roughly 1 mile).
Villa Sebastiana A is located on the ground floor of a two story building. You will reach it from the street level going down a public walkway that includes approximately four stairway steps.
You will not need a car to stay at Villa Sebastiana A. If you do have one, you will be able to park it downtown, for a fee, in a private parking lot. Alternatively, you can park for a fee along the public roads (the actual distance might vary depending on the availability of parking spaces). Living Room
The furnishings of the living room are cozy and comfortable. The furnishings include a sofa. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven and an Italian-style coffee-maker. There is also a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. The dining table can accommodate four guests. In this room you will find a flat-screen television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the small balcony with a view of Positano through a French door. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Please kindly note. The rental price includes: final cleaning; electricity; linens; towels. Refundable security deposit paid cash upon arrival: EUR 150 (it is returned to you at check-out).
Half bath
The half-bath is equipped with a washbasin and a toilet. You will be able to enter it from the living room.
Mezzanine LevelBedroom with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the bedroom from the living room climbing 16 steps. This room has no door. The ceiling is vaulted. The room has a wrought iron matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). In this room you will find a television (local channels). The room has a window overlooking Positano. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a shower and a hairdryer.

Perfect apartment for our stay in Positano, perfectly convenient location, and Mrs. Margherita [the owner] was an amazing host. Greeted us with fresh squeezed orange juice and pastries. The apartment had everything we could possibly use on our trip. We probably didn’t need to pack half the stuff we did. The view was absolutely stunning and price was on point. Couldn’t have asked for better, thank you!

The apartment is as pictured and the balcony is the best feature! We spent a lot of time enjoying breakfast, aperitifs, and the night sky out there with an amazing Positano view. This was one of my favorite stays of our vacation through Italy, and I wish we could go back!

Magical Margherita

The colours and sounds of Positano spilled in and out of Villa Sebastiana, thanks mostly to divine host Margherita. The welcome was heart-felt, the touches endless. A veritable garden of Eden in a small but perfectly formed apartment in an equally perfect position. We were cocooned in a mystical environment for a week, which felt both like 2 months and 2 minutes. We’d be delighted to return.

Would choose this place every time

Would choose this place every time! If you are arriving here via land (bus, taxi, private transfer), this location is beyond convenient - it's right off the main coastal road and not far from a bus station. If you're arriving via ferry, you will have to climb about 10 minutes of steps (or hire a porter to bring your bags up). The grocery store next door was nice to have and has good hours. They have a little deli in the back and even some basics like shampoo, bug spray, soap, etc. The workers in there are friendly and helpful. So much to do nearby! Check in was smooth. Margherita [the caretaker] met us there and showed where things were and how to use everything. She gave us tips on how to get around. She is the sweetest! it really felt like you were staying with family. AC worked well and so did the washer (theres a drying rack). Shower is a little short because of the curved ceiling, but wasn't a problem for me (5'8" 172 cm) - I'd imagine if you were 6'3"/190 cm + you might have to duck a little. Bed was comfortable. Thank you for a great stay. We would love to stay again when we return to Positano. We had no issues and wish we could have stayed longer!

Amazing view

Great location, in Positano this apt looks west so sunlight is on the opposite hillside in the morning and the balcony gets afternoon sun. The market literally 6 steps away was fantastic, which is very friendly family run business. Margherita was very friendly and explained everything well. It included some kitchen staples and beach towels.

We had a great time in Positano and our stay at Villa Sebastiana A. The location is perfect by being off the busy areas but still at waking distance to downtown and surroundings. The apartment is well equipped, bed is comfortable, and the view from the balcony is beautiful. We were welcomed by Margherita, who was very friendly and thorough in explaining the amenities, as well as offering recommendations for things to do. We highly recommend Villa Sebastiana A for your stay in Positano!

Wonderful Positani

The villa was wonderful. Very clean and well equipped. The host was very friendly and helpful, often asked if we needed anything. Great view from the balcony. Wouldn’t hesitate to book this place again!

Excellent location

This apartment is a 5/5 location, 5/5 view. Managed by a very nice host. The place itself is not small, but the bathrooms are and the deck smaller than it looks. Old school feel/older furnishing but the apartment has everything you need and more when it comes to kitchen ware, appliances, bathroom items etc etc etc. 10-15 minute walk to the down town area and water. Directly next to an awesome little market and close to a bus stop.

Amazing apartment in Positano

This apartment was amazing. The views out of the door in the living room are stunning! The place is clean, nicely furnished, and charming. There's even A/C upstairs and downstairs, and a clothes washer that aren't mentioned in the listing. There's also a grocery store right next door for any wine, snacks or groceries you might need. It's also relatively close to the beach. You're not right there, but also, you're only about 5 my minutes away. You might want to think about getting a porter for your luggage uphill, though.

Unbelievable view of Positano

We loved our stay at this apartment. The apartment is on street level and the bus stops in front of the door--perfect for a day trip to Pompei. The view from the balcony took our breath away--it was so beautiful. The apartment had everything we wanted--a bed and hide-a-bed couch, dishwasher, 2 toilets, fridge, microwave, clothes washer and drying rack, and of course--the view. The English-speaking homeowner met us at the door and told us how everything worked. We honestly couldn't have hoped for a better stay in Positano. Would love to return.

We had a lovely time in Positano. Villa Sebastiana A was absolutely perfect. It is literally right on the road so it was easy to unload and load our baggage. Ms. Margherita was a gracious host and gave us excellent tips. I would definitely stay here again!

Experience started very poorly

For some reason, our gps did not function well. When I called the owner/host, I got little help. It was not until we spoke to a lady on the street that we got proper directions. The host was kind enough to go with me to find a parking place, over my insistence that I wanted to park the rental car in a parking garage, the host repeatedly insisted that I park on the street. There are no written instructions in the house, and the hosts explanations are very difficult to understand.

10/10!!! We spent a wonderful week in Positano. Luca and his mother Margherita helped us check in and showed us everything. The apartment is AMAZING. It's not too far from the beach and center, the stairs aren't as bad as in other parts of Positano, there's a store right next to it where we bought breakfast and dinner and we were even lucky enough to use the little garden below the apartment because the one below us was free. Fresh tomatoes and lemons for days! Margherita was the nicest person ever and we absolutely loved this place. Of course, the view was the highlight. Unbelievable!

Our picturesque stay in Positano

Marghareta greeted us at the door. She was friendly, sweet, kind, and very informative. She gave us great recommendations and shared her home grown props from her darling garden! The place was comfortable & cozy with an amazing view! Surroundings areas are quiet. There's a small grocery store literally next door which makes it very convenient. The one downside for us was the upstairs bathroom. The ceiling slopes inward forcing one to duck when using the facilities making it a bit challenging since we're both on the taller side. Otherwise, everything else was great!

We really enjoyed this place so much

We really enjoyed this place so much! The apartment is amazing and feels very authentic. Also Ms Margherita [the caretaker] was so kind and welcoming, and made us feel comfortable from the very beginning. We will without doubt be back next year, and we can’t wait!! Summer In Italy worked out just fine, very quick and helpful response every time we needed any sort of assistance. Highly recommend!

Villa Sebastiana A was an excellent base to enjoy Positano and the local area

Villa Sebastiana A was an excellent base to enjoy Positano and the local area. It was very convenient for the Sita bus which stops by the door and a mini supermarket which was next door. The steps down into Positano were also next to the front door. The view was stunning out of the little balcony which was just big enough for two people to sit out on. The kitchen was well equipped and the owner had kindly left us a starter pack of food to get going with and some useful condiments eg. oil, salt, pepper, herbs and spices. The bed was very comfortable and generally the apartment was perfect for two for a short stay. Although the apartment is on the road, when you have the door shut you cannot hear it as the walls are quite thick. If you have the french windows open you can hear the road on the other side of the valley as the road winds around the slopes but it isn't too bad and you will get there where ever you stay. Good accommodation for the right price.

Overall the property is pleasant but would have a struggle for a family of 4 to spend a week there. We were greeted by the owner’s mother and she was very helpful and also provided us with some food and a bottle of wine which I thought was very thoughtful of them. I found Summer In Italy very professional and helpful, I would recommend them.

We LOVED our time here

We LOVED our time here! The location was perfect, loved the view and garden terrace, the owner went over everything in detail and we didn't have a single problem. Would come back in heartbeat and I'm going to recommend the place to my parents who plan to visit in the fall. Our experience was perfect. Summer In Italy as well as the property owner gave us a wealth of information and we wouldn't change a thing!
