Great space for multiple families

The house was perfect for our 4 families. There was room for everyone to spread out but also be together for meals, games etc.

Great time with buds!

We had a really great time staying here! The access to the lake was unbeatable and closeness to hiking trails was awesome. Everyone had a really great time and I’d definitely recommend this place to other people looking to spend some time in this beautiful area. The only thing I would warn of is that the internet was in and out the whole time and for most of the time didn’t even work. Otherwise everything worked great!

Girls weekend

We celebrated my friends bachelorette here. The house was amazing and even bigger in person. Everything was clean and easy to find & use. Beds were comfy and fit all 14 of us easily. We've already spoke about coming back with our families . The neighborhood was great, lake was super clean, and we even enjoyed some live music at the local outdoor bar/restaurant Nick's

Great Family Stay !

Can’t say enough about this beautiful home ! It has a cozy feel as soon as you walk in the door . It’s clean , crisp. It’s stocked with all you need . We used the kayak and paddle boards all weekend . Had dinner , lunch . Played games . The house is so well appointed . Decor is beautiful and rooms are so spacious. The most comfortable space for all of us. Plenty of bathrooms which are very clean . We didn’t want to leave . The lake is full of people playing on the water . Great location close to everything , race track , restaurants . We will be coming back here again next year !

Awesome Home

Spacious home for family and friends on the lake. The owners make it easy. Just show up and enjoy yourself. Everything we needed was available. Clean up for departure was simple. Great long weekend. Will be staying there again soon.

Great cabin

Location, location, location. What a great spot. It is close to all the best spots in the Poconos. The cabin is big, spacious and lots of fun for the entire family. We all enjoyed the stay greatly. A few tips 1. Bring extra toilet paper and paper towels. The owner/host provides a minimal amount of extras. If you have more than 10 people planning ahead for this will make the stay easier. 2. If going during the winter bring additional blankets. The beds have thinner quilts. If you or your guests become cold easily, they will be happy to have come prepared. We had a great time and would rent again. 1 suggestion for the host/owner - go through the home and replace dead light bulbs. There were a lot of lights that didn’t work, especially in the bathroom fans and the bedroom ceiling fans.

House was amazing, beautiful and spacious. Location was perfect.

Awesome Rental Property. Description was spot on. Dock and outdoor space was equally roomy and spacious as the inside of Lovely Log Cabin. We used all outdoor tools... kayak, paddle boards and metal boat. Only negative feedback is master bedroom TV's need upgrade for relaxing downtime and 2nd master bedroom on main level should have an AC window unit because central air on 2nd level does not go beyond loft. Dining room chairs definitely need replacement.

The hose was amazing. The only thing to improve on was the activities. Some of the games were broken and the outside equipment could use upkeep.

Great house, heat/cleanliness needs improved

Starting with the positives, the pictures of this house do not do it justice, it’s gorgeous and spacious! The house was everything we wanted and MORE!! In the weeks leading up to booking I contacted the owner (no response), we booked the property anyway and sent a VRBO email a week before and 2 days before about check-in details (no response), owner did answer when I called on phone and was very helpful. When we arrived, we had sheets that were not washed set out for our bed (clearly smelled like someone slept on them), the heater on main lever never went above 63 degrees (we were freezing!), upstairs heat worked great, and the outdoor area was really unkept with dirty rafts left near the dock and lots of clutter/mess of water equipment when you walk out of basement. If we wanted to use the water equipment we’d have no idea where to find everything and it was all very dirty. The neighbors filled the shared driveway with cars and had a very loud party during the day, which ended at 10pm and we were glad since we had young kids sleeping. During the day, the neighbor was getting trees removed ALL DAY on a weekend, it was not relaxing to sit on the beautiful deck. For the price point of this house I would expect working heat and A higher standard of cleanliness. Regarding neighbors, that’s not this owners fault and not reflected in my rating, rather, sharing in case you want a quiet lake house- this might not be it!

Beautiful life size Lincoln Log cabin with plenty of room

Stayed the weekend for my wife’s birthday with friends and family. House is located right on the lake with everything you would need to entertain. There’s plenty of space for up to four families to stay comfortably. The game room could use a few repairs/items, the air hockey table was broken as were all of the cue sticks for the pool table, kids settled for ping pong. The surrounding area and the locals were great and very friendly. Owner was super helpful and answered all of our questions. We spent an entire day on the lake using the provided double kayak, paddle boards and jon boat. We look forward to coming back again in the future. Oh, just a heads up for future guests, be sure to put all of your trash in the garage, or you may get a visit from some rather large local animal wild life looking for a snack : )

Great family getaway

We had a wonderful quick getaway. The landlord was great and responsive to messages. The area is beautiful. The family enjoyed the lake and activities in the surrounding area. House was beautiful and plenty of room for all of us! Would love to return for family vacation again!

Log cabin winter weekend

Absolutely awesome holiday weekend over Martins Luther King in this cozy, warm and beautiful log cabin with plenty of room for my family of 16. My grandchildren loved the game room while the adults enjoyed relaxing and enjoying the beauty of the fireplace and the lake. It was close to Jack Frost and Big Boulder for the skiers in the family. I highly recommend it and it was actually larger than what I thought from the photos. We hope to rent it again sometime.
