This condo was beautiful, we'll stocked. I didn't get my list of what I needed to bring until I tried to contact vrbo to discuss the place not having beach access. We had a beautiful couple of days. I just think the owner should be more forthcoming that at high tide your access to the beach is under water. I was very upset, but decided not to let it ruin my getaway. Other than that it was great. But not a nice surprise upon arrival. The tiny beach was great and luckly we had low tide most of the day. Would have bee a different story if the high tide was during the day.I still didn't like having to walk out onto the street to go two houses down to get beach access because of the high water and giant sandbags. This app won't let me add the photos I took of the high water half way up the stairs to the sand.

You may have been there for King or Moon tides. The beach was replenished last year, the town has plans for permanent beach replenishment.

Great stay overall! Plenty of space for the family and the beach was just steps away. A few updates and better housekeeping would make it even better (there was sooooo much sand on the beds and couches when we first got there).

Absolutely perfect!! From the beautiful sunrise to the spare flashlights for night time crabbin the host has everything you need to have a great time and was an absolute pleasure to deal with! We will definitely be back! This is the perfect vacation spot !

Everyone deserves to know what they’re actually paying for and this listing is INACCURATE AND OUTDATED!1. This condo does NOT sleep 8, at least not comfortably! There’s three 30 year old couches and the smallest tan loveseat is the “queen” pullout, but it’s barely a full size mattress and most likely the most uncomfortable one in the whole place. If you want to move ALL the furniture in the living room then you may be able to access this pullout to sleep or you can push it back and block your only exit and the kitchen just to use it!!2. The two trundle beds (4 twin mattresses) were scummy so I vacuumed the top ones after finding the 2 most comfortable. There also isn’t enough room to fully pullout both trundles at the same time!3. The biggest guest room is NOT actually a queen mattress, it’s a full for sure and very squeaky every time you move in your sleep!4. This unit itself is NOT 45 steps to the beach…the building has 45 stairs that go down to the beach, but for half the day they are partially submerged under water with waves crashing over them. They’re slick and the bottom step is missing and the shower is broken so you can’t rinse off before going inside!5. This entire end of the beach is slowly being abandoned because the shore is washing away and they tried to protect it with massive sandbags, but now they can’t afford a permanent fix which is sad.6. This unit is cheaply priced for a reason so just keep that in mind and don’t have any expectations!

Great location

This unit has a great location right on the beach. Beautiful sunrises! Nice clean, easy check in, check out, close parking. The only down side was the complex needs to have some beach renourishment done so high tide doesn't inundate the property. The large sandbags make the beach view sad.

A perfect, peaceful getaway

The property was exactly as advertised, and exceeded our expectations. 45 steps to the beach was no exaggeration, which made multiple trips out to the beach each day a breeze. With both sliding glass doors facing directly at the beach, morning sunrises were incredible. This wasn’t our first visit to Topsail, and we’ll definitely be back. When people would say “We’re going to the beach for July 4th”, I would cringe at the thought of packed beaches, endless traffic, and people partying on the beach. Not this spot… quaint, not commercialized, and oh, what bliss!
