The ground-floor Garden Terrace Cottage is popular with guests who have mobility issues and also for families with young children, as is at the back of the complex with a large private terrace overlooking the garden. The terrace has a built-in BBQ and plenty of seating to enjoy al-fresco dining whilst watching the children play in the garden.
There is a large living room, a fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom with both a bath and a standalone shower, the master bedroom with king-size bed and a cosy twin room. Guests enjoy enhanced amenities such as wall-mounted televisions in the twin bedroom, a private Netflix account, DAB radios and luxury toiletries.
The cottage is rated as 'partially accessible' by Disabled Go. There is a ramp leading to the front door, plus from the living room to the terrace. The hall and doorways are wide enough for a wheelchair to pass manoeuvre. The light switches are set lower on the walls and there is only a small step (2cms) to get into the shower.
