Our host was veryhelpful and informative. The location was excellent, on the square and an easy walk to all the sites. Theco do was clean,quiet and comfortable. It was well equipped with many extras- wine,bread,cheese and coffee etc.

Luisa furnishes her place with extra details, and she provides a full introduction to Evora -- things to see and places to eat. She encourages guests to share their experiences with future guests, and these write-ups are interesting. The location can't be beat -- just off of the main plaza in old town.

Lovely place, excellent location

Luisa’s place is perfectly located in Evora and she’s a wonderful, attentive host. The place is extremely comfortable and we stayed for 2 nights wishing we had stayed longer!

Luisa was a wonderful host. She met us in paraca de Giraldo and made it easy for us to park our car in her garage, which was few minutes walk away from the apartment. The apartment in a medieval building was beautifully renovated, very clean and comfortable. She kindly showed us around, treated us with a very tasty white wine, cheese and bread and gave us all the great tips to experience the beautiful city. We had a great time and love to stay again if we come back to Portugal.

Wonderful property, nice touches, great location with parking

Luisa was a wonderful host including during the preparing to arrive process and questions we had. On checkin, she took the time to tell us the important things to see and do in Évora. The apartment was very clean and modern with the touches you could only hope to have at all VRBO properties. Absolutely beautiful apartment with everything one needs. Very comfortable bed! Garage parking a short walk away is very nice if travelling by car. Host Luisa is wonderful-great communication and provides suggestions on local sights and restaurants.

Beautiful apartment, great location!

The apartment had all the amenities, was immaculate and the location was perfect. Please know that the bed was very hard, and there are steep stairs to the apartment.

Historic Evora

The apartment was spotless and very comfortable. We were right in the center of the historic area and could walk to everything. The little grocery across the street has fresh baked goods for our breakfasts and each and every meal was great. The unit included a parking spot which was ideal for rental car we had for touring nearby towns. We stayed 6 nights.

Excellent location

If you want somewhere in the heart of Evora this location is right on the square. Very well equipped and high quality appointments. Real flowers were a lovely touch. Louisa was very helpful.

Excellent Apartment!

We really enjoyed staying in this property, located within the old walls/palace of Evora. The apartment was BIG and very nicely decorated. The location can't be beat, just park your car in the provided garage and walk everywhere. The bedroom can be loud at night so be sure to shut the wooden window doors to help block the noise. Host was so helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

It is tough to say enough about this apartment. It isn’t large but is so well thought out in every way. The location is as good as you’ll find in Evora. The bed is the best you’ll sleep on anywhere. The details are all thought of…just enjoy your holiday.

Great location!

Quick two night stay in this apartment with excellent communication with Luisa, the property manager. Safe and secure parking for your car. The apartment was spotless, very comfortable and in the heart of Evora. Walking distance to everything. Highly recommended. As mentioned before, there is a short walk from the parking garage to the apartment and one flight of stairs.

Lovely Evora home

We had a wonderful, if not brief stay in Evora. This apartment came with such history yet beautiful renovations have been made. The sheets were crisp, the towels, extra fluffy, and the apartment fully equipped and spotless. Luisa personally met us in the Square and took us directly to the apartment and gave us a brief history on the walk there of the town. We are so happy we go to visit big world, but definitely come back to stay at Casa das Arcadas again.

Modern conveniences in the center of Evora

This property is unique given its location and all its amenities. The unit is much more spacious than the pictures. The balconies in the living room and bedroom overlook a pedestrian street, steps from shops the locals patronize like the gelateria, bookstore yet a few blocks from the tourist drag. Even with windows open, the unit is very private as the side of a church is directly across you. While the unit is in a really old building (sits directly on top of centuries old stone arcades), Luisa offered EVERYTHING we needed. Well functioning A/C, Washer/dryer combo (plus drying rack out the back window), full size Bosch dishwasher. Garage parking available a block away. The unit was super clean and smelled clean. It exuded pride in both practical and “nice to have” details - crisp and monogrammed linens, real plants, coffee table books on the local area. The kitchen was beyond well appointed - covered every possible need down to thermometer and decanter, nutcrackers, chip clips (!), All helpful with our leisurely 4 night pace. While the apartment has a keypad and Luisa could have done the usual “self check in”, she met us, walked us to the parking garage and through the unit, offered local wine and bottled water as we started our stay. I didnt realize how much I missed that kind of host until I met her!! She was very thorough and beyond transparent (be careful with pigeon poop, garage gate work, etc). Very responsive even with minor questions. Thanks Luisa!
