Island Getaway

Our hosts were lovely, and we appreciated the treats they left for us upon arrival. Their guide to the house was most useful, as well as their driving directions. The property is located in a nice area for long walks, and made for a great jumping off point for our day trips around the island.

Cozy home, beautiful scenery!

The water faucet in the kitchen and the fireplace need repairs, and the locks for the doors are difficult to open and close, but overall we enjoyed our stay. The owner was great to send great information before we arrived which was very helpful. Judy was very responsive to our needs!

Better than the photo

Location amazing, much much better and slightly less remote than it may look in the photo. Property is well sized, feels bigger on the inside than it looks outside. All the fixtures and fittings are perfectly good. We were unlucky that the boiler had just been changed and was left by the front door. A couple of tips, the property is by the sea but not by a beach (rather it is on cliffs). When the wind blows it’s a bit noisy at night! If you do stay here, do everything you can to keep this fragile corner of the UK in unspoilt condition - so few places like this left
