Dancers Cottage has 6 Bedrooms, 4 Bathrooms and can accommodate a party of 11-14 people more than comfortably. Situated right next to the River Leach this cottage boasts beautiful countryside walks right on the doorstep. It has a large private garden perfect for alfresco dining in the Summer and why not enjoy a dip in the new 8 person Wood Fired Eco Hot Tub - it may be that in the heat of the Summer you prefer to have it cool during the day and then light the fire for a warm soak in the evening....the choice is yours. Or perhaps why not come and enjoy a lovely Winter break whereby you can relax and cosy up to the log burner. Dancers Cottage is the perfect Rural Cotswold Retreat for family or friends to get away. 

Dancers Cottage is nestled between the beautiful Cotswold villages of Eastleach and Southrop. Both villages are only a 1/2 mile walk from the house and each have a fantastic pub! Lechlade is 4 miles away and offers watersports on the River Thames, walking on the Thames Path, then why not finish with tea & homemade cake at one of the Artisan coffee shops? Burford is 8 miles away and has the renowned Burford Garden Centre, Jeremy Clarkson's pub The Farmers Dog, Burford High Street and Cotswold Wildlife Park. A little further afield you have Buscot, Bibury, Cotswold Lakes, Blenheim, The White Horse at Uffington, Oxford, Cheltenham and Bath.

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

KITCHEN - A fantastic large kitchen which is fully equipped to cater for family or friends getting together. Vaulted ceiling and windows overlooking the river. Electric Range cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, freezer (there is an extra fridge/freezer in the outside shed if needed), dishwasher, Krups Nespresso Pod Coffee Machine (takes Vertuo Coffee Pods but please note these are not provided). Kitchen table/breakfast bar with stools.

LIVING/DINING ROOM - Door from the kitchen leading through to a lovely open plan, living/dining area with vaulted ceiling, exposed beams, and a large fireplace (logs provided - seasonal). Large L-shaped sofa & arm chair, an entertainment system including a Smart TV and SONOS sound system. A large dining table seating up to 12-14 people next to sliding doors leading out to the garden.

TELEVISION ROOM/EXTRA BEDROOM - At the rear of the property is a second sitting room/TV room with an additional Smart TV, sofa and arm chairs. This room can also be used as an additional bedroom due to having a king size sofa bed (This must be requested on booking if required).

Dancers Cottage has a laundry cupboard in the hallway with tumble dryer and washing machine.
Highchair & travel cot are also available on request. Please note that you will need to bring your own linen for the travel cot as we do not have/provide this. We DO NOT provide travel cot mattresses either.

This property sleeps a total of 14 guests - 11 people in 6 bedrooms and 2/3 people on the additional sofa beds (1 in bedroom 4 and 1 in the second sitting room/television room).

OUTSIDE
Large stone wall & wooden gate leading into gravelled courtyard/parking. Separate fenced and gated garden with lovely lawn area and patio area with a large table & chairs, parasol and Gas BBQ. Parking for up to 3-4 cars. Additional parking is available opposite the main gates.

Dancers Cottage has a Wood Fired Eco Hot Tub which seats 8 people more than comfortably. There is an additional fee of £300.00 PER week OR short break for this. Should you require the use of this during your stay then please request at time of booking – minimum of 7 days notice required before you arrive. We will arrange for this to be warm for your arrival. During the Summer you may prefer to keep it cooler during the day and then heat it for the evenings....the choice is yours!

The River Leach flows adjacent to Dancers Cottage.

Dog friendly – up to 2 well behaved dogs are welcome for an additional charge of £40 per dog.

Wood burner – please note that logs are only supplied to guests between 1st October – 30th April.

Gas BBQ – Gas is supplied.

It is explicitly forbidden for the charging of EV's via a domestic charger at this property. It is also explicitly forbidden for the charging of e-scooters and e-bikes at this properties, thank you
