This coastal retreat sits directly opposite the award winning beach in Thorpe Bay. Enjoy the panoramic views across the Estuary. The bi-folding glass doors is what sets us apart. Once opened, it brings the outside inside.

Lovely apartment

This was our first visit to Southend and it was for my wife's birthday. It was a beautiful apartment, sparkly clean and tastefully decorated. The view from the apartment was spectacular. We were very happy there. I had trouble shutting the door when we left as there is no handle so I used a corkscrew from the apartment to shut the door which I left on the the shelf outside.

Perfect - in every way

I spent 9 nights at this beautiful 1 bed penthouse apartment whilst I visited family in Thorpe Bay and it had everything I needed - and more! Samantha keeps this apartment to a very high standard and I really appreciated the overall cleanliness and the comfort of the furnishings as well as all the little extras she provides - fresh flowers on the dining room table and staples in the fridge and freezer. She certainly sets the standard for this 5 star rating.

Amazing

The penthouse was amazing. Proper home from home with the little extras. Everything was so lovely. The bed was comfy and the sofa was lovely to chill on in the evening. The view in the morning and at evening just felt so nice as we had lovely weather. It was our first visit to Southend and we will return. I have also been asked by many where was as it was that nice. 5 star for everything

Cannot be faulted

The property was exactly as advertised. Spotless and with many provisions included. Comfortable and with a great view. Sam was a pleasure to deal with. I would not hesitate to recommend this property and Samantha as a host.

The apartment is superb and there are lots of lovely touches from chocolates by the bedside to unexpected biscuits. We have visited before and will be back again.

Everything you need and want!

We stayed at the property over the jubliee weekend and had a fantastic time. The property has everything you need for an enjoyable, relaxing and luxurious stay. There is such attention to detail in all the rooms with quality fixtures and fittings, goodies in the kitchen, welcome food/milk, fluffy towels and confy bed. Every little detail is fantastic. Thanks. We will be back.

It's Got The Lot

Beautifully clean. Perfectly hosted. Well stocked, from fruit, fridge and freezer to towels and toiletries and much more. Warm and very comfortable. Never spoilt our enjoyment but worth noting for us oldies 2nd flight of stairs are very narrow and steep. Also, best to take an electric razor as bathroom sink is not suitable for a wet shave. Don't let these minor details put you off such a splendid apartment. Samantha has everything covered for a care free stay, you could turn up with just your clothes oh and a tooth brush!

Amazing little apartment on the seafront!

Loved it so much, so many lovely little touches and helpful things all over the apartment, it was so cozy and cute and though the balcony was small it’s not bad because the doors open all the way up and there’s nothing like sitting on the sofa staring out at the sea with a breeze through the doors. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay, loved it! Only one draw back is the parking spot is out the back and the entrance is around the other side of the building so hauling bags isn’t great, but there is free parking out front if you manage to nab a spot so I did that for the bag hauling and then moved the car out back. It’s a tiny complaint in the grand scheme, and I’d recommend anyone to stay!

Estuary View Penthouse Apartment Southend-on-Sea

The apartment was a real ‘home from home’. Samantha’s attention to detail was outstanding. The apartment was spotlessly clean, decorated with a real eye for design and comfort. We have never before stayed at self-catering accommodation where we had to do so little catering for ourselves - the fridge and freezer were well stocked for us, as were the fruit-bowl and biscuit-jar! The view from the apartment is the wonderful ever-changing estuary and the balcony is a real bonus. Altogether, everything we could have hoped for, and more. Thank you, Samantha.
