Just lovely!

Clean, central and plenty of room for 6 adults! Roadside parking not a problem. Chinese takeaway very good. The Old Boat House crab, excellent! Puffin boat trip worth doing but we saw more seals than puffins which we loved. That's just Amble, plenty of other places to visit!

Lovely House

The house is exceptionally clean and welcoming. Really good position for exploring the Northumberland coast with walking distance to harbour, shops and restaurants/cafes. The ice cream parlour was a favourite 🤗. Highly recommended.

Never judge a book by its cover! From the outside was a little apprehensive but once inside the property was excellent. Superbly furnished and equipped with a very high standard of cleanliness. The location could not be better we all enjoyed our walks around the harbour which was only a very short stroll from the house. Could not have wanted anything better

A cottage with the wow factor

This cottage totally exceeded our expectations. It is simply a premium quality holiday let in a beautiful part of the world. The owner's attention to detail shines through. Everything is top notch. You will not want to leave. There was only one issue in thje week with some hit-and-miss wifi, a problem that was remedied with immediate effect. There is a strong impression that the owner wants to do eveything possible to ensure that you have a great time. Amble itself is a gem of a place that is handy for so many places of interest and beauty. Tilly's Lookout os on the edge of this small town, near to the harbour and shops. It's a very good location. The north-east seems to be becoming more popular year-on-year and rightly so. If you want a superb base to explore from, this is a very good option. Our family would return without hesitation. Thanks for great service from start to finish.

Short 3 night Brreak

Firstly we were expecting access at 17.00 so I was delighted to get a text saying it was available from 13.00! Got parked immediately outside every time! Property was perfect and by far the most immaculate and clean place we've ever stayed. Fab welcome pack for humans and our pooch - lovely touch!! Very central even my Mum aged 87 could walk locally. Prompt and kind responses from the owner. Gorgeous comfortable beds and bedding!! Can't recommend highly enough.

Tremendous Tillys

We had a wonderful stay at Tillys, superbly clean and prime location. Correspondence with Elaine was excellent and the cottage was literally home from home, very well equipped, outstanding and comfortable decor and a very thoughtful welcome pack left for both us and Olly 🐾 - these certainly went down a treat! We love Amble and this property certainly did not disappoint, it ticked all the boxes and more. Thank you again for the most wonderful stay and we will certainly be back Kev, Lisa & Olly

Immaculate home from home

Beautiful property and absolutely spotless. The owner left a lovely welcome pack for both ourselves and our four legged friend - which was really appreciated. Ideal location for both the marina and high street. Would strongly recommend and 100% would stay again.

Amble by the Sea in June

The property was one of the best we have stayed in. (Over the years we have stayed at many places all over the country.) Tilly’s Lookout more then lived up to the online description! It was very clean and well equipped for our very relaxing weekend. I’m sure we’ll be booking again.

Tillys lookout

We were looking for something that would accommodate 7 of us and the dog and tillys lookout came up, we normally stay in Cresswell but spend majority of our time in amble so for us it made sense to book, the house is immaculate from the top to the bottom and decorated to a high standard with lots of local artwork and photos, really conviently close to the shops, restaurants and pods. Felt like home from home and we can't wait to go back.

I am originally from Amble and spent most of my younger years in and around Warkworth. I now live near Morpeth with my husband and 2 older children. We have 3 dogs ourselves and always struggled to find good quality holiday accomodation that allowed our dogs without compromising on quality. We originally bought our first holiday cottage in 2019 "Gerties Getaway" in Amble as a base to stay while we visited family but quickly discovered there were a lot of people like ourselves who wanted to have a break away with (and without) their dog and didn't want to compromise on the quality of accommodation they could stay in. We now have 5 cottages in Amble and Warkworth which offer a luxurious break away with friends and family. Although our properties are dog friendly we pride ourselves in exceptional cleanliness and high standards meaning our properties appeal to both guests with and without dogs
