This property is a well-loved family home, filled with books and personality. We loved staying there because it felt like a home, not a generic rental property. The best features are the location (in quaint and quiet Craigville Village, but set off on it's own in the woods so you see no neighbors) and the multitude of outdoor hang-out spots (lower patio and garden, upper deck with big table and the "treehouse" deck at the end of the boardwalk from the main deck, nestled in the treetops.) there are also many spots for hanging out in small or large groups indoors. Comfortable beds and ample kitchen supplies. No air conditioning (except in the master bedroom), but lots of fans kept it comfortable enough on the hottest days. It's a bit of a walk to Craigville beach if you're carrying more than a beach bag, but you can drive and drop off stuff, or pay $20 to park (with all-day drive-in, drive-out privileges.) The owner, Skye, was a delight and very accommodating.
