One double bedroom chalet with WIFI on tranquility park in Woolacombe overlooking the sea.
Woolacombe has won awards for being one of the best beaches in the UK and the view of the bay from the chalet is lovely
We have a washer/dryer, fridge freezer, dish washer and smart TV. There is a sofa bed in the main living area with a pull out bed underneath.
There is parking for one vehicle in the road in front of the chalet.
There is also a large garage / shop in front of the park that is well stocked with groceries. The site is being extended with new builds being constructed on the opposite side of the park.

Three day break!

Clean and comfortable. Well equipped. Excellent parking. Some issues with toilet, cistern sometimes not filling properly and washing up bowl had to be used! Never did manage to lock door from inside!

We had an enjoyable 4 nights here at Mortehoe. The premises were clean and tidy. We appreciated the box of biscuits from the owner.Observations: the description of the accomodation/location was not entirely accurate and could be updated. The views are limited, the nearby garage and shop are closed. How about two comfortable chairs (not one)?

Overnight stay in Woolacombe

Exactly as described, my brother and I were walking the Tarka Trail which follows the Coast Path through Woolacombe. This was a great one night stay for us, the sofa bed was very comfortable.The chalet is over a mile away from the coast path uphill! But this is as described and there are lovely sea views from the property.The shop and petrol station were closed when we arrived and this seems to be a long-term closure - not sure why, so stock up before you head uphill. We had tea bags but no milk! The host was very helpful with the arrangements to have our bags delivered to the property, good communication both before and during our stay. Thank you.

good value!

Stayed here tonnes. It's good value for a couple of days visiting the area. 20/25 mins walk to the beach, easy parking. Very quiet! Nothing fancy but everything is in order. Host is amazing for communication and super kind! We always love the biscuits on arrival! :)

Short drive from lovely beach

It's fine. Maybe new bath mats needed, Present ones frayed,faded. not a problem. But if asking for improvements.. We had a nice time. Owner left box of shortbread biscuits.. Washing machine if needed, plenty of cupboard space. 2nd time we have stayed there.. Sea view...

Für eine Nacht ok. Die Angaben zum WLAN stimmten nicht. Ich wusste nicht, wo die Heizung war und wie ich sie hätte bedienen können. Es war doch recht kühl im Cottage. Die Lage war zu Fuss schlecht erreichbar. Es gab keine Angaben zu einem Bus, obwohl ganz in der Nähe eine Haltestelle gewesen wäre.

Great Location easy to access places nearby.

Our stay at this beautiful holiday home was absolutely wonderful! The location was ideal—just a short drive to the beach, making it so convenient for our family to enjoy the sun, sand, and sea whenever we wanted. The kids loved building sandcastles and splashing in the waves, while we appreciated the peaceful surroundings.The house itself was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the essentials facilities for home-cooked meals, The bedroom and the leaving room was comfortable.The owner was very responsive and helpful, making sure we had a smooth and enjoyable stay.Would highly recommend this holiday home to families looking for a relaxing beach retreat.

Improvments

The hot tap in bathroom did not work, the boiler did not have any instructions and the hot water was VERY hot. The sofa was uncomfortable and water seemed to collect around the toilet after showers.

Our weekend in Woolacombe

Place clean, adequately furnished/equipped, very basic. Towels were clean but hard and uninviting - same colour and washed/dried with softener would solve. Major issue was old mattress, turned over to a spring twanging accompaniment, and prod in the back. Bedding clean but needs replacing.

Was a beautiful location just perfect for us. The property was perfect size and the host was wonderful just was a little damp inside, think they have mould problems being close to the sea but for the price cant really complain too much. Thanks for the shortbread we really had a good time.

Great little property, nice and close to Woolacombe beach, all of a 5 min drive. It had everything there we needed for our stay. The only 1 thing we thought would benifit the property would be a sofa/sofa bed. But all in all it was great.

Woolacombe weekend stay

The property was much better in quality than the photos suggested. Location was good. You can walk into woolacombe but the walk in is about 4 minutes on the main road before you turn off onto the footpath. No issues for us. Nice walk in. Great communication and I will definitely stay again.

Long weekend in Woolacombe

This property is in Woolacombe, it’s a basic chalet style bungalow with a double bedroom and a sofa / sofa bed. It’s very quiet and peaceful, I went along with the dog and met up with friends staying nearby. The accommodation is well kitted out. The host was very quick to respond to messages and contacted me so I could get in early..it was a very rainy, cold June day so that was most welcome. When the sun came out I did sit outside by the hydrangea it was lovely and great view over the hills. It is well stocked with outside chairs. It’s off the busy road into Woolacombe and I think you need a car to get to most places, there is a bus stop nearby. I did find the double bed a bit lumpy so decamped to the sofa bed Overall it was good value for money

Great place in a fab location

My partner and I stayed here while on the south west coast path and it was a brilliant refuge for us after a long day's walk! The place was spotless, facilities were good and it was so quiet and peaceful - perfect for a good night's rest. Our host, Pauline, was very communicative and helpful. All-in-all, a lovely place to stay.

Ideal Holiday Break

Property ideal for two. Well equipped with all amenities. Petrol station and local shop close at hand walking distance. Sited out of Woolacombe to far to walk but thats a good thing to be away from the noise and adjacent to the main road for traveling to other places in Devon. Small seating area outside with a sea view. Will visit again.

Great little get away

Great location, easy to find, short drive to the beach. Garage with shop just round the corner 😁. Everything you need is provided in the property. Had no issues with any of the heating or hot water. Will definitely return in the future. I will add that the pictures don't do the property justice, much bigger then it looks. Very comfortable bed slept very well just what we needed a well earned rested getaway. Highly recommended

Good value beach holiday

Cosy apartment, nice comfortable bed, warm and a good shower. The only downside here is the lack of footpath to the beach but we stayed knowing that and the location is a good spot to explore different beaches and areas each day. Great value for money
