From Bolams Holiday Home you and your guests will experience a tranquil holiday setting, breath-taking scenery and numerous countryside walks right from your door with the added bonus of having Thomastown and Kilkenny close by.

Bolams Holiday Home is a delightful holiday accommodation in Ireland set in an area of outstanding beauty. Bolams holiday home is a 3-bedroom holiday home sleeping 6 guests comfortably:

Please note, there are 5 steps leading up to the entrance of the home.



Outside the holiday home is beautiful lawned gardens with garden furniture, the perfect location for taking in the beautiful surroundings while dining alfresco. There is WIFI included at this holiday home. Towels are provided within the home.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Heating and Electricity:

Utilities are an extra charge at this property and payable on departure to the Owner/Property Manager. The daily rate for heating & electricity at this property is €5 all year around. Should utility charges not be paid on departure, they will be deducted from the security deposit without further notice. Breakdown of these charges are available from the Owner/Property Manager.



2. Security Deposit:

A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival by cash. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.

Fantastic Stay Bolams Holiday Home in Thomastown

We couldn't have asked for a better stay for our few day's down at a wedding in Mount Juliet, only a short drive from Thomastown and the hotel.. The house was perfect, everything we needed catered for and John was a gentleman and made sure we were looked after..! House was 10/10! Will definitely be back next year..! The welcome pack in the fridge was very much appreciated the morning after landing..!!

This is a great house, and they were extremely hospitable, including some food (bread, milk, white wine, ham, sparkling water) in case we needed to eat when we arrived. The only difficulty was finding it, as we were given the wrong address (it's on a completely different road than we were told), and we drove up some very narrow, overgrown lanes trying to find it. Once we got the Eircode (essential for addresses in Ireland!) we found it easily, and would happily stay there again.

Lovely Thomastown holiday

The bungalow at Thomastown was well appointed with a spotless interior. It is well laid out with lots of room. The view from the elevated bungalow is breath taking. There was everything you need for a holiday, loads of bed linen with extra pillows. Its location is very convenient to Kilkenny, Waterford and within striking distance of Arboretums, Garden centres and coffee /eating places. The house is bright and airy and very cosy. The rubish is lifted once a week and help is at hand if needed. A very enjoyable holiday. Don't think there is much needing Improvement.

Comfortable stay in a peaceful place

We enjoyed our time at Bolams a lot. The house is fully equipped which made our stay very comfortable. The location is perfect, just a few minutes away from Thomastown. Our only regret is not having stayed for more days, we will be back! There was nothing that we missed during our stay.

Convenient place to stay in Co. Kilkenny

Bolans Holiday House is a comfortable house in Thomastown. The house was spotless and check in was very easy. The owner’s brother met us at the house and explained everything we needed to know. He had also stocked some essentials like bread, butter, ham, milk, cookies, and even a bottle of wine, to be used during our stay. This was very thoughtful and saved us from having to head to a supermarket as soon as we arrived.

Our stay in Ireland wouldn't have been so wonderful if we hadn't stayed in such a lovely and comfortable home. The hosts were the kindest and ready to answer any question or request we made. The house is spotless, and there is everything you might need during your holiday and even more. Plus we found all the necessary to make an Irish breakfast and that was really lovely. The position is perfect to get to Kilkenny in no time and all of that is surrounded by greenery and wonderful view. Nothing. Everything is absolutely perfect.

Highly recommend this accommodation.

We were welcomed at the accommodation at the time agreed- John was very friendly and gave us a run down of the house and the local area- showing us around and answering all our questions. The house was clean and everything we needed was available. The high chair and travel cot were clean and there were plenty of beddding for it. The location worked for easy access to Kilkenny and there was plenty of space for two families. Nice touch of having all the bits to keep you going milk bread tea coffee etc. there for you when you arrived there was even a bottle of wine. If we are back in Kilkenny in the future we would not hesitate staying here again and would highly recommend it. Thanks a million. The shower temperature was difficult to regulate and there didn't seem to be any hot water in the kitchen (we just boiled the kettle to wash some bottles.) It wasn't a deal breaker.

Toller Ort mit virlen schönen Erlebnissen in der Nähe

Wir haben einen tollen Urlaub in Thomastown verbracht. Am Tag der Anreise hatten wir Glück und konnten schon früher in das Haus. John war sehr nett. Es gibt viele tolle Ziele in der Nähe Jerpoint Abbey, Kilfane Wasserfall, Kells Priory, Kilkenny Castle und vieles mehr.

A country Gem

From the moment of booking our experience was top notch. Arraignments we're made to meet the key holder and he was there waiting for us upon our arrival The home was clean and absolutely lovely! Waking up to the view was an absolute treat. Nice snacks left for us to enjoy which were highly appreciated! This was much better than staying in a hotel! My elderly father and I were visiting the area as we were searching for his ancestors. It was centrally located to all the towns we were wanting to visit. We even had time to do some exploring also as we went to visit Hook Lighthouse and the Famine Ship Dunbrody. When we return to that area of Ireland, I know that we will want to again stay at the Bolams Holiday Home as it was perfect in all ways! There is nothing that I can think to improve. Truly, it's a nice little house!
