Heaven!!!!!!

This was the most beautiful place!!!! Placed at the end of a country road lined by magistic trees.....we could not of asked for more. We were greated by John who graciously showed us the house and grounds. Our trip was one planned to reconnect as a family, living abroad for the past 7 years we looked for something to complete that . The house , or should I say castle was exactly what we were looking for. Thank you for greeting us with homemade bread, fruit, champagne and all the amenities!! Sincerely The Rowe Family Ps....,Wind in the trees, rushing stream, cows, birds singing..... all of these will forever be in our treasure boxes and memories as a family Thank you❤️

Wonderful place for our family reunion

23 of us flew from the states for our father's 80th birthday year/ family reunion. Annamult was the perfect place for our group! We had 13 adults and 10 children under the age of 17. The outdoor space was perfect for people to play and explore. We made great use of the grills and fire pit in the evening. The house was clean and plenty of space for people to hang out throughout the stay. Susan and John were lovely hosts. They were quick to respond to our questions and thoughtfully dropped off delicious croissants and scones two separate mornings. We were there for an entire week and we hosted a party for our local relatives. We had it catered using a recommendation from the host and everything was perfect! Great memories to last a lifetime.

Beyond Expectations!

Our stay, for my Sisters Hen party was beyond what we had expected, all 28 of us were completely blown away by this venue! John met us on arrival and showed us around and gave us history of the house, we were then met by Jack - the worlds friendliest dog!!!! The grounds are amazing, so peaceful in the mornings and all you can hear are the birds and the wind in the trees... The fire pit in the evenings was our gathering point for food and drinks, thank god the weather was on our side! The house was so clean and spacious with plenty of fridge space for the bubbles and food as we catered for ourselves. Susan responded asap to my queries and i cannot wait to return. Our weekend was filled with fantastic memories for us all but especially for my Sister. Annamult will have a place in my heart forever!!

Family gathering over Christmas

Three generations of our family gathered for 4 days at Annamult House. It could not have been a better house for us to enjoy Christmas. We cooked delicious meals in a very-well equipped kitchen, set a beautiful table for an elegant Christmas dinner for 15, played games in the large comfortable parlor, went on beautiful country walks and kept 3 open fires burning to make it cozy. Any request we had was immediately fulfilled. The bedrooms were well appointed and the beds and bed linens great. The house is filled with beautiful antiques everywhere you look. Everything provided was done so generously (towels, soap, coffee, firewood, paper products, as examples). The icing on the cake was a gorgeous 12’ Christmas tree and decorations throughout the house. We could not have been happier. It is advised to have a car as taxis were difficult to reserve over Christmas. But we walked the 3 miles to the closest pub and got rides home from the proprietor. And with Susan’s help, were able to get to our early-morning departure trains.

Luxury

A family group of 23 of us rented this property to celebrate a wedding anniversary. There were 4 generations of us staying and everyone of us thoroughly enjoyed it. Susan and John were so helpful, even dropping freshly baked bread to our door in the morning. We will definitely be booking again. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. . . Heaven on earth

Beautiful house

A large group of us stayed for a short break over Xmas and we were all delighted with the house The sitting room is large and was plenty big enough for us Susan had lovely touches added including a huge Xmas tree! The house was extremely warm and cosy Our group (26) was too large for the bedroom space but that was something we knew when booking I would love to return for another visit in the future Thank you Susan!

Beautiful, large, countryside Irish estate! 15 mins from Kilkenny w/ wonderful shopping & history.

Lovely house in the country, decorated beautifully and filled with Irish history and narratives. The property is also amazing, with a large outdoor dining area, and paths meandering along the river. The owners were terrific to work with: quick, friendly, and responsive, with helpful advice regarding dining and shopping options. Upon our arrival, every fireplace on the main level was roaring and the house decorated for the holidays. We would absolutely stay here again and, in fact, may do so again this summer. Highly recommended!

Great stay in wonderful house

The house is wonderful, particularly the gardens with walks and beautiful outdoor eating areas. We were a very large family group (24 in total) and found the indoor dining and sleeping arangements a bit tight for such a large number. However, our verdict on the house was that it is fantastic and our children in particular had a great time.. Susan, our host was excellent to deal with, very quick and thorough responses to questions.
