Wonderful place to stay

We were 4 adults and a 2 year old child and we had an amazing week here. Anna and Dino are very welcoming and it's easy to feel at home. We would recommend this place to anyone!

Great stay at Italian Olive Farm

We had a wonderful stay with Anna and Dino! They were so gracious and kind. They were very accommodating and have a great pool for cooling off. Even without speaking Italian, they made us a lunch and we had a wonderful dining experience with them. Thank you so much!!

What an incredible place.

To start wish there were more pics and labels. If I had known it was such a beautiful place, and not just a pool house, I would have stayed much longer. Very comfortable and excellent views. Also highly recommend the little Osteria in Montagonzi. Anna and Dino are great hosts. They only speak Italian we only speak English, but we all made it work. Such a nice couple. This place is amazing. Apt is very spacious, no AC but it was comfortable in mid August. Little hard to find but I am hoping to help them with that part of the Iisting. When you come out of Moncioni look for a 10 meter tower on the right. Sign for property and turn are right there. DO NOT FOLLOW GOOGLE it will take you down a goat trail. Goat trail was fun though. LOL. Loved it all thank you very much Anna and Dino.

Une expérience a nouveau magique

La résidence Le Chiuse est un merveilleusement endroit pour découvrir la Toscane au niveau de l'emplacement, du confort des locations, de la beauté de la propriété...mais surtout du sens de l'accueil d'Ana et Dino. Merci encore pour l'excellent séjour et à très bientôt.

Olivenbäume, Weinberge, Italienische Herzlichkeit

Wir haben bei Anna und Dino mit unseren drei Kindern einen traumhaften Urlaub erlebt. Wer sich darauf einlässt und keine Scheu hat notfalls auch mit Händen und Füßen zu kommunizieren, der erlebt echte italienische Gastfreundschaft und Herzlichkeit. Authentischer geht es kaum. Die Landschaft ist umwerfend, die Ruhe und Einsamkeit erholsam. Die landestypisch rustikal eingerichteten Wohnungen überraschen mit Details. Im Dorf kann man am frühen Abend Aperol Spritz in Robertos Bar genießen und mit Einheimischen plaudern. In 10 Minuten ist man mit dem Auto in Montevarchi und findet dort den großen Supermarkt aber auch die kleine Salumeria um die Ecke. Leckeres Eis gibt es in der Gelateria detto fatto. Viele bekannte Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in 45 -60 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Wir hoffen, dass wir noch einmal wieder kommen können, um Anna und Dino und ihre drei Hunde wiederzusehen. Vielen Dank für diese wunderbare Zeit! Unvergesslich!

We had an amazing stay with Anna and Dino. Amazingly welcoming hosts in a stunning location.

Our stay with Anna and Dino was filled with great Italian food, wine and a heartwarming hospitality. Forget about sterile hotel rooms and formal service, at Anna and Dino’s you get personality and quirky but loving hosts. We had the pleasure of eating with them and their friends several times and it was a great experience of Tuscan hospitality. We are traveling with our 1,5 year old son who loved the place- three dogs, two cats and hens. And of course looking at Dino working with his tractor and watering plants with Anna. The surroundings were stunning - a spectacular view of the valley from the pool area. The pool is clean and well kept. The place is rural and you must consider driving a bit in order to visit most places in the area. We thought it was worth it though. A very recommendable stay.

Prachtige lokatie met uitstekende voorzieningen

Wij, familie van 5 personen hebben een verblijf van bijna 2 weken gehad. Eerst twijfel of alles wel klopte, want het huis was opeens verdwenen van de HomeAway site en de naam van het huis op internet bleek anders: La Chiuse. Uiteindelijk was het makkelijk te vinden en kregen we een warm onthaal van Anna. De eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam, ze spreken alleen geen andere talen dan Italiaans, maar mbv zeer goede wifi en google translate ging de communicatie heel goed. Het is een ruim huis met alle voorzieningen en het zwembad is geweldig met een fraai uitzicht op mooi plaatsje en de vallei. De omgeving is prachtig en er is veel te zien op een afstand van 1 - 1,5 uur rijden. Wij hebben genoten! Bedankt Anna en Dino.

En ferie med personlighed og charme

Et fantastik sted med en smuk udsigt. Anna og Dino er et fantastisk ægtepar som ikke taler det mindste engelsk, men man føler sig utroligt velkommen fra første minut. Fin lejlighed ( Casa Marone) - dog kunne køkken og opholdsstuen godt have været lidt større. Hver søndag er der fælles spisning med familien og de andre gæster på ejendommen, en fantastisk måde at lære de andre gæster at kende på. Husk dog rigeligt med myggespray, da de kan være noget af en udfordring. Nærmeste indkøb er i Montevartchi ca 8 km. væk. Husk at besøge torsdagsmarkedet samt de lokale isbarer Har aldrig oplevet et feriested så personligt og imødekommende som hos Anna og Dino kan du anbefale stedet.

Incredible hospitality

My family of five (with three older teenaged boys, 15, 17, and 19) stayed at this property for a week in July/August 2015. We have used VRBO and related sites for many years with great success in France, Spain, New Zealand, and the USA (amongst others) and have always been very happy. But this property is over and above. The location is great with wonderful views and access to the vineyards, olive groves, and all the tomatoes you can eat, but it is the hospitality that makes this one stand out. From the moment we arrived and Anna came rushing out in a flood of Italian until the moment we left, our hosts (Anna and Dino) were wonderful. Gelato for the kids, wine for us, pizza with the other guests. They make a great location wonderful. The photos on this site are accurate. The road up to the property from Montevarchi is a bit windy and narrow in places, but which country road in Italy isn't? Italy was in a heatwave during our trip and the property does not have air-conditioning. It was hot! But, fans were provided and we slept fine. Our boys socialized with others around their age in the evenings and late night. We could leave them 'home alone' during the day while we explored the hill towns of Chianti. Moncioni has a small store and there is a large supermarket 15 mins away in Montevarchi. All in all we had a wonderful week in a great location with a good sized pool and amazing family hospitality from Anna and Dino. They don't speak a lot of English and our own Italian is even worse, but, we managed fine and were made to feel like one of the family. They have a couple of guest books that go back to 1996 and they are full of reviews and comments like this and more. Letters and photos from former guests and drawings in the book from families who have enjoyed their hospitality all attest to the character of the property. Just great!
