La Vecchia Posta is a welcoming, spacious and authentically charming holiday home located in the center of Cavriglia — ideal for exploring the wonders of Tuscany.

Strategically positioned between Florence, Siena and Arezzo, and just a few minutes from the Chianti hills, it is the perfect base to discover a new Tuscan treasure every day: art, architecture, nature, wine and tradition.

The house accommodates up to 4 guests with two double bedrooms and three bathrooms (two on the first floor — one en suite — and one on the ground floor), offering both comfort and privacy.

The interior is tastefully furnished with a mix of vintage pieces from the early 20th century and modern touches, creating a space that is warm, cozy and full of character.

Outdoors, guests can enjoy two large furnished terraces for open-air meals and a private garden, ideal for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.

About 1.5 km away is the Bellosguardo-Cavriglia Green Area, offering 5 padel courts, a 2.5 km illuminated path for walking or cycling, an e-bike rental point and guided bike tours.

Marvellous Stay at Vecchia Posta

Recently we have spent 10 wonderful days in the Chianti region of Tuscany. Apart from all the different places of touristic interest we really enjoyed staying at Vecchia Posta in Cavriglia, a quiet little town 60 km south of Florence. The former post office constitutes a lovely old house, which has been embellished on a grand scale. Vecchia Posta is surrounded by a big garden and offered more than enough space for the three of us as well as all comfort and facilities we were looking for. Eventually we would like to thank Lucia, who is the owner of the house, for her great hospitality and kind assistance on several occasions! Zahra, Melika & Dirk

Villa typique au coeur d'un village toscan sans touristes:immersion garantie !

On se sent immédiatement chez soi dans la maison de lucia, très propre et très bien équipée et avec deux terrasses. Pas besoin de prendre la voiture pour aller faire ses courses, on trouve de tout au village, même un glacier ouvert jusqu'à 22h30. Cavriglia est très bien située entourée de vignes et d'oliviers, à 10' de montevarchi où l'on peut prendre le train pour Florence et à 45' de voiture de Sienne. Seul bémol, la grosse chaleur et les moustiques nous ont empêchés de profiter du jardin et des ballades dans la campagne toscane au plus fort de l'après-midi. Nous avons déjà envie d'y retourner. Merci encore à Lucia , nous avons goûté à la dolce vita pendant 2 semaines !

15 jours idylliques en Toscane

La Vecchia Posta de Lucia est très agréable, confortable et très bien amenagée. Lucia nous a très bien accueilli et nous a laissé des petites intentions qui permettent de se mettre dans le bain. La proximité des petits commerces est un atout appréciable pour les courses de tous les jours. La location est très bien équipée pour cuisiner. Pour les sportifs, il y a deux pistes à moins d'un kilomètre qui permettent de courir ou de faire du vélo sans se soucier de la circulation. La Vecchia Posta est idéalement située pour celles et ceux qui souhaitent visiter la Toscane et plus particulièrement la région du Chianti.

Accueil très chaleureux dans une maison confortable.

La maison avec terrasse et balcon sur un beau jardin permet d'accueillir agréablement 5 personnes avec ses 3 chambres, 3 salles de bain, un beau séjour et une cuisine bien équipée. De multiples attentions de la part de Lucia attendent les visiteurs. Merci. Localisation permettant de visiter de nombreux sites (Sienne, Florence, San Gimignano, Monte Olivetto Maggiore, Arezzo, Montepulciano, Assise et Perouge, Sansepolcro, .). Commerces locaux très chaleureux. Excellent séjour.

Excellent séjour. Accueil chaleureux

Séjour très agréable dans une maison impeccable donnant sur un joli jardin. Chambres avec salle de bain individuelle très appréciées. Accueil avec nombreuses attentions (gâteaux, nécessaire petits déjeuners). Dans le village, le supermarché COOP réserve aux clients un excellent accueil, le personnel nous a aidés, notre italien étant sommaire. Point de départ bien situé au départ de nombreuses visites en Toscane. Merci Lucia

Vacanza perfetta nella campagna toscana

La casa è molto accogliente, pulita e confortevole, con stanze comode e cucina bene attrezzata. Tutto è curato nei minimi dettagli. Il giardino molto grande ci ha permesso di passare ore piacevoli all’area aperta. La posizione vicino al centro del paese di Cavriglia si è rivelata davvero strategica: punto di partenza ideale per conoscere l’intera regione. Bellissima la campagna circostante. Comodo anche il posteggio privato. Lucia sempre gentile e disponibile. E’ stata proprio una vacanza indimenticabile!

Nel cuore della Toscana

Ottimo per chi vuole trovare un po' di relax, senza rinunciare alla comodità di essere in un piccolo paese, dove a pochi metri trovi tutto: ristorante, supermercato, tabacchi. Abitazione grande, comoda e molto pulita, è fornita di tutto, con tante piccole sorprese offerte dalla proprietaria che è stata davvero gentile e disponibile! La posizione poi è davvero privilegiata, esattamente nel mezzo del triangolo Firenze, Siena e Arezzo, è perfetta per gite di un giorno ad Assisi e Siena con uno splendido scenario sulle strade rurali attraverso le aree di Arezzo e del Chianti. Siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi e soddisfatti della nostra vacanza!

Tutto perfetto !

La casa è spaziosa e piena di luce, non manca nulla...in più, ogni camera ha il suo bagno privato. Davvero bello il giardino e le terrazze, dove di sera, anche dopo una giornata caldissima, è stato possibile trovare una temperatura fresca e mite. Il posto è in una posizione perfetta per visitare le città d’arte della Toscana e il Chianti. Se poi non si vuole guidare tanto, scendendo a San Giovanni V.no c'è la stazione del treno che porta ovunque. È stata una vacanza veramente piacevole, ci torneremo presto
