Langdale cottage is in a great location, fantastic walks from the door in every direction.

Langdale cottage is in a great location, fantastic walks from the door in every direction. Our dog loved swimming in the river by the bridge opposite the cottage! The main bedroom is very small and the bed too soft and uncomfortable for our liking. Kitchen is well equipped but there was no recycling bin so we ended up bringing everything home to recycle. We would definitely recommend and would stay again.

One of the best equipped cottages that we have stayed in, particularly in the kitchen.

One of the best equipped cottages that we have stayed in, particularly in the kitchen. Lovely comfortable beds and linen. Convenient parking and beautiful location with wonderful views. I only dropped the cleaning score as we had to vacuum the settee as there had clearly been a long haired dog on it previously. Other than that, everywhere else was spotless.

Fantastic cottage, amazing views from sofa with loads of amazing birds and voles coming to the bird feeders...top up with seed from excellently stocked local shop.Only issue is the hot water comes on over night and is really loud in upstairs bedroom. Other than that perfect

Cosy and clean little cottage. Nice views heading up to property and from lounge window. Steep hill getting to property...not so great on a loaded motorbike. Few gripes....very hot weather but the extractor fan didnt work and there was no free standing fan so stuffy at night ...
