Aloe Cottage at Ibis House rated number 4 on TripAdvisor. Aloe Cottage is a private self-contained cottage on the iconic Ibis House Estate, surrounded by trees, palms and birds. It is a peaceful retreat while still close to restaurants, shops, beaches and the Constantia Wine Route. It has direct access to the walking trails of Tokai and Constantia and guests have full access to the 20metre Swimming pool.

A great getaway

Comfy, clean, well maintained cottage on a beautiful property. Really enjoyed our stay here for 2+ weeks. The coffee shop and Tokai Forest right next door were a huge bonus.

Gorgeous mountain grandeur surroundings and Great People!

My several weeks stay at Aloe Cottage, part of the Ibis House Estate, has been amazing. Each day has been wonderful and joyful. I am recalling all the lovely days at Aloe Cottage, the great weather, our terrific host Suzanne, and her great family, sons and daughters and their children. Your charming people and the creative vibe have just made my stay! I loved; minibreaks at the Secret Café coffee shop, the best vibe and delicious vegan treats ever! The café is in the estate grounds, and allows one access, just 30 seconds walk from the cottage, to the majestic Constantiaberg Mountains and their walking trials. You will come across lovely people walking their dogs or strolling along the miles of pathways to gaze at the Splendid Mountains, some cultured with centuries-old vineyards going a third of the way towards their summits. They provide their beauty to us all, freely, as well as their caring and healing energy. One feels blessed to be let in on this secret! Your seven-acre guest house estate is amazing in the beauty of its accommodations, people, hospitality, and the Grandeur of these Inspirational Mountains, whose foothills your wonderful property share a border with, onto the Nature Reserve Trail. The experience of being here is amazing and greatly appreciated. The people inspire the Mountains, and the mountains inspire the people. Not sure which came first, but that doesn't matter anymore, as it's made this stay the best ever, and I am determined to proudly proclaim this, and am enthusiastically recommending IBIS House, in the Sweet Valley of Constantia, to be a place where one can truly feel the frequency of Beauty, and the Gorgeous Grandeur of the mountains, plants, water, light, food, people and fresh air, (not to mention the delicious wines in the surrounding valleys), which have given Cape Town and the country here, its justly deserved international acclaim. A not to be missed place to visit, experience and enjoy, at least once in every fortunate guest or traveler who comes here's lifetime! Will be back soon as possible, so see you here, Bon Voyage!
