Inside, the lodge combines rustic warmth with modern comforts: a cosy log burner, a wide-screen smart TV with Netflix, and large windows that frame the surrounding wilderness. The fully equipped kitchen makes self-catering effortless, while the inviting bedroom—dressed with luxurious linens and robes—promises restful, indulgent sleep.

Outside, a fairy-lit patio, private hot tub, and year-round BBQ hut create a magical setting for slow days and starlit evenings. Dogs are pampered with their own bed, towel, bowl, and treats, and our friendly resident donkeys, Sam and Rodney, always enjoy meeting guests.

The surrounding area is rich in history and natural beauty. Kilmichael Glen is known for its standing stones, ancient carvings, and atmospheric woodland trails that reveal layers of Scotland’s past. Walks here feel peaceful and immersive, with quiet paths ideal for exploring with a dog. Close by, Lochgilphead offers cafés, bakeries, and local shops, making it easy to find fresh pastries, seafood, and handmade treats. Those who enjoy barbeques can also obtain venison from the neighbouring estate. Excellent restaurants are located nearby, and a cosy pub awaits 10 minutes’ drive away.
