Nestled in the pines and mere minutes from the renowned Lake Sam Rayburn, our Mediterranean-style homes are beautifully maintained. Each one is fully furnished and waiting for you to make it your home away from home. This home is a spacious 1900 Sq. Ft. and can accommodate up to 7 guests. Hosting a bigger group? More than one home can be reserved to accommodate your needs. Whether you’re seeking a location near to a public ramp for your next fishing tournament, golf- weekend getaway in the country, or a place to hold your long overdue family reunion – we can offer you the option to make your stay a carefree and memorable one. Need to stay for work? special discount for stays longer than 30 days.

Adventure awaits you in this popular recreational area. Lake Sam Rayburn and the surrounding area abound with fishing and hunting opportunities. The beautiful lake is ideal for a variety of water activities. We are only 3 miles from the public boat launch and the Umphrey Family Pavilion on Hwy 255. Our property can hold your boat in our covered garage.
If golf is your game, the Rayburn Country golf course is 1 mile away and is open to the public.

In need of food and supplies? Piney Point Plaza on 3881 Rr 255 W is only minutes away, and you will find the "The Stump” restaurant, The Dam Liquor Store, Chapala Mexican restaurant, Hamburger Depot, the donut house, a gift store and a gas station. Need some groceries? Dollar General Store and a couple of tackle stores , located alos on 255. Jasper is 20 minutes away, you can find Walmart and Lowes, plus various restaurants and various stores. There are a few churches on FM1007. If you are looking for a more adventurous day trip, Lufkin and Toledo Bend are each 50 miles away and you can be in Beaumont in an hour and a half.

Have a dog you would like to bring along? We love our furry friends (dogs only, no cats). We have plastic bags available for you to help us maintain the yard. There is plenty of room for a kennel and bed if you have one, we simply ask that you do not let the dog on the bed or the furniture. The pet fee is only $10.

Lovely villa

We very much enjoyed our stay. It was very comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. It was also more spacious than we thought it would be. Checking in and out was very simple. Would definitely stay again.

Awesome Place to Relax

Just a one night stay but loved the house and the owner was very accommodating and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

Fishing friendly!

We came for a fishing tournament and had a few rigs with us. everyone slept comfortably and parking was great!

Weekend stay fir destination wedding

We rented for multiple family members to stay at after our daughters wedding at a local venue. Owner was very attentive and upgraded our stay to a bigger home at no extra charge. Very much appreciated them going above and beyond to accommodate us.

Nice place and great location!

Hone has everything you’d need for a short or long term stay. Only complaint was the dead bugs everywhere but it is a common issue in Texas.

Amazing house!

This house was fantastic! So much room and loved having 4 bathrooms! Mariela was an excellent host and checking in regularly! The house is close to everything (restaurants, dollar store and boat launch). We will definitely be back!

Lovely property. Great communication. Had everything we needed. Super accommodating for parking as we had 4 trucks and 3 trailers. Will definitely be back.

Great little weekend getaway.

We had a great time. We have not been to Sam Rayburn in years and it was so nice to go back. This place was located in the perfect spot. Just minutes away were gas stations, stores the boat launch and even restaurants. The little neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. The cabin had plenty of room for our family. We actually did not even use one of the bedrooms/bathroom. Contact with the owner was amazing and very helpful. We will definitely look at using this place again in the future.

Perfect for fishermen

This property was designed by a great fisherman Raul Morineau and his daughter Mariela. Raul has since passed and was at his peak back in the day. I fished against him and we became friends so I was surprised when I learned that I was renting from his daughter. Our stay was a great experience. As fishermen the 4 bathrooms worked very well for us in the early morning hours if you know what I mean. Thanks Mariela for the stay and the reminders of your dad. Those were great memories of days gone by.

Great Location to Explore Sam Rayburn

First, the property owner is amazing and making sure you are comfortable, have what you need, and is very accomodating. She was great at communicating with us, and we found her notes around the house extremely helpful to avoid any confusion or issues. The house is perfectly located close to the lake, so we could easily take our boat to the ramp and fish the day away. The house also has a great driveway for parking the boat, which we appreciated. The inside is a perfect floor plan, too. 3 bedrooms, 3 full baths, and one half bath - all with plenty of space and great showers. The common area of the house is open and has plenty of space for all of your guests. It's a charming rental property, with a flare of Mexico, New Mexico, and Texas country living. I really love the history of the homes, too. Understanding who constructed these homes makes the stay more enjoyable, paritcularly for my family with young fishermen. Mariela's dad, Raul, was a legendary fisherman, so my sons enjoyed learning about him and his successes. To think he built these homes is amazing. These homes are treasures near the lake, and we definitely will return.

Great Comfortable Peaceful Stay

Great Stay for my 6 member family. A spacious and comfortable house. Each family member enjoyed living there. The property manager made sure that if we needed anything, she was assessable (however we didn’t need anything, everything was basically perfect). We will return again next year

I would like to thank you again for the use of your house . I have rented houses in Texas and Louisiana the house and help with anything we needed was excellent. We had 3 trucks and boats plenty of parking for all and easy access to lake. I would recommend the house to anybody looking to stay in area .

The house was excellent. Lots of room for us to spread out after a long day of fishing. Loved the garage, no having to unload or cover the boat at night. I'll stay here everytime I come to Rayburn if possible. Clean, comfortable and close to a ramp, food and fuel. Can't ask for more.

Enjoyable Stay

Hello W & D, It was such a pleasure meeting you and your lovely wife. It makes such a difference when I get to meet our guests! I am glad our properties location worked out to be close to your friend's house and your friend will be reserving already for October. Hope you can come back and see all the new updates we have been working on this week and for the property next to the one you stayed, we are building a new carport. We added lilies to the fountain and that was a nice project. With the bird feeder filled again, this morning there were already some beautiful tuxedo woodpeckers enjoying "free seeds". They are so fun to watch them. Tonight we used to fire pit. Please be safe and I hope to host you again soon. You can choose any of the properties! Let me know if you need their ID's. Great Stay

Everything we asked for. Clean, comfortable, fully stocked and roomy. This is my second stay with them and I will return. One other member will be coming back in October and will use them.

Hi Everette, Thank you so much for your review. This will be our third year hosting guests and we love (when in town) meeting people from all over the country and hear their tournaments experiences or how much fun they had if they organized family reunions and stay in our properties. I appreciate your referrals and please ask your friend to let me know that he is your friend. We are building this week a car port in Villa 2 and doing a lot of landscaping. Villa 3 has a new fire pit and we will be building one more in Villa 1. We have added a fountain that instead of "water" , we filled it with lilies! and a bench so guests can enjoy nice afternoons under the trees. Please be well and hope to host you again soon. M~

When you read my reviews, you will see that I have been hosting for over seven years and love meeting and talking to my guests. I am proud to say that I have earned the "super host" status.
When you stay at one of our villas, I will make sure you feel at home, away from home.

Location, location, location. Our properties are located in beautiful Rayburn Country resort area. Only 8 minutes from few public ramps and 4 minutes from the beuatiful Rayburn Country club.
Being in the real estate business, my father started building these type of properties in 2008. Their unique construction with concrete walls, cathedral ceiling throughout the house and colorful colors throughout the house, you will have all the amenities you want during your stay. From the size of the garage to park your boat and truck to outlets around the property to charge your batteries. Large backyard for your family to play. Feel free to use the picnic tables and BBQ grills.
Each bedroom has its own full bathroom, each twin bed has memory foam mattress. In the living room there is a TV with Dish service.
If the house is not rented the day of check out, late check out can be discussed
