Fernwood is proud to offer you this exclusive property on the village quay in one of Ireland's most sought-after holiday locations. Roundstone Quay House is one of the busiest rental properties in all of Connemara.

The view from the living room and bedrooms, described as one of the best views in Ireland, is ever changing throughout the seasons. Located on the pier in the heart of the fishing village of Roundstone in the Connemara region, an area famous worldwide for its picturesque views, award-winning restaurants, fishing, walking and breathtaking beaches. O'Dowds Bar & Restaurant and Vaughan's Roundstone House Hotel, only metres from the house, serve award winning seafood throughout the season.

Also have a look at the Roundstone Quay Cottage, our smaller 2 bedroomed house just next door, which was fully renovated in 2022.

The Quay House has central heating, cable broadband with WiFi, satellite TV, free parking outside the door, hotel standard beds, linen and goose down duvets.

Golden sand and crystal-clear water can be found at Gurteen Beach and Dogs Bay, only 2 km away. These beaches are a mecca for swimming and beach combing throughout the year. Climb Errisbeg mountain behind the village and return for O'Dowd's famous seafood chowder, or locally picked mussels prior to a short stroll down the harbour to the luxury of the Quay House.

Billion dollar views from a beautiful home on Roundstone quay.

We stayed for a few nights during our Ireland stay. The view from the front windows is picture-postcard perfect - who needs Netflix! The home is modern and beautifully furnished with a well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds made for great sleeps.

We absolutely loved the friendly atmosphere and stunning views in such a wonderful setting. Our accommodation was clean and spacious with beautiful artwork. Our host was so helpful and our sauna experience made our stay very special as well.

Dream stay in a warm, welcoming, well-appointed home with the most sublime view and ideal location

The view from the picture window is enough on its own, but the house is so beautifully decorated, cosy and comfortable, and its just the tiniest of walks of the hill to Roundstone's pubs and a short hop in the car (or on a bike or walking) to the most beautiful beaches for swims and walks. We had such a lovely relaxing weekend. I really hope I can get back again some time.

Quay house in Roundstone was the perfect house for a cosy winter holiday.

We had an absolutely wonderful time in the Quay house. The accommodation was perfect with everything we needed. The view out over the water and mountains was wonderful and changed constantly. We had long winter walks on the beach and then back to the cosy fire and nice food. We would love to come back. Thank you for everything.

An amazing stay with a stunning view and perfect location for exploring Connemara.

It was a pleasure to communicate with Anne already before our arrival. She gave us some advice and practical information which were very helpful as it was our first visit to Ireland. Unfortunately a very heavy storm changed our plans so we couldn’t stay in the house the first night. Anne was so helpful and arranged with accommodation in Clifden and also booked a table for us so we could have diner (Guy’s bar - amazing)! Her husband Simon was also very kind with us. We will definitely come back!

Views across the bay are stunning. Proximity to O’Dowds, a superb pub and seafood restaurant. A great location (albeit it is by an open quayside so I wouldn't be comfortable with young children) Good communication from owners. Well equipped.
