Roundstone Quay Cottage, opened in June 2022 is our latest, and super exciting addition to Fernwood's offering. This 2 bedroomed cottage (1 superking size double and 1 twin) has been completely renovated and updated with all mod cons, whilst still offering the unique charm of the waterside fisherman's residence.

There is central heating, fibre broadband, fully fitted kitchen, wood burning stove, smart TV, bluetooth speaker and much more.
The view from the living room and bedrooms, described as one of the best views in Ireland, is ever changing throughout the seasons. Located on the pier in the heart of the fishing village of Roundstone in the Connemara region, an area famous worldwide for its picturesque views, award-winning restaurants, fishing, walking and breath-taking beaches. O'Dowds Bar & Restaurant and Vaughan's Roundstone House Hotel, only metres from the house, serve award winning seafood throughout the season.

For those with kayaks or even their own boat, the cottage provides a fantastic base for your holiday where you can step outside your front door and into your boat, moored in the shelter of Roundstone Harbour.

Golden sand and crystal-clear water can be found at Gurteen Beach and Dogs Bay, only 2 km away. These beaches are a mecca for swimming and beach combing throughout the year. Climb Errisbeg mountain behind the village and return for O'Dowd's famous seafood chowder, or locally picked mussels prior to a short stroll down the harbour to the luxury of the Quay Properties
