We didn’t stay
We had booked the cottage as a stopover on we way home from our holiday destination.
We arrived at a small business park, which immediately raised questions in my mind. Reception was friendly and we could understand each other with poor English. Once we arrived at the cottage and after the tour, we noticed that the cottage was very primitive. The kitchen was dirty, the sink was full of brown smudges. The bathroom may have been reasonably clean but the bathtub needed a lot of maintenance, kit edges were gone and the wall was broken. Once we arrived in the bedrooms, we noticed that the pillowcases were dirty and unwashed. The blankets were also dirty. As bedding, there was disposable bedding .....
Road got more and more unsafe and unpleasant feeling because of the state of the cottage and the environment it is in, so I decided to drive straight back home and not spend the night there.
