Snow Fun!!

Great cabin in a good location for winter weather activities. Cabin offered everything we needed plus more. I would recommend thinking about food options before your visit in the winter as most places close early or don’t open at all mid week.

Beautiful area, cozy cabin

We stayed the week to celebrate our 20th Anniversary. The area is absolutely beautiful just everywhere you go. The cabin was just as described and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the forepit, hottub, and walking trails on the property.

Lovely Cabin

We stayed here in February and the cabin was lovely and very clean. The location was excellent, just a a couple of miles from Bretton Woods and Northern Extremes Snowmobiling adventures. We would definitely stay here again.

October 5 day stay

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Whether it was sunny or rainy, the cabin was cozy and comfortable. Everything was clean and more things were provided then we expected. We would stay here again!

Amazing properties

We had an incredible time staying with all of our friends the weekend of our wedding. We had an awesome outdoor party for our welcome party and the house was a hit with all! Plenty of space for entertaining and plenty of sleeping arrangements for all of our friends! Will definitely be back for another anniversary and highly recommend to anyone else getting married at the Omni mount Washington hotel/Bretton woods.

Winter Wonderland

Wonderful place tuck in away from the Highway. Really close to Bretton Woods Ski Area but feels Like your far away from the crowds. Hot Tub was a hit!

Thanksgiving in Bretton

Rental company is well oiled machine! Property was useful and close to everything we wanted to do. Hot tub in the snow was amazing! All the snow was great and just a short ride to Omni for some fun family activities! Would recommend and stay again!

Very cozy cabin!

My experience at the moose cabin was great! The cabin was very cozy and perfect for us! We did not want to leave for it already felt like a home away from home! We will be coming back for sure! Thank you Breton Woods!

Great White Mountain Base

We enjoyed the cabin and found it to be cute, cozy and clean. The location is great - just down the street from Bretton Woods and close to many hiking options in the area. Our family of 5 (and dog) was comfortable, but larger groups may find the space too cramped given the smaller kitchen and one bathroom. Trails on the property are a great perk and nicely maintained. Overall great stay!

Another Family Ski Trip

We loved the cabin and the setting. It was peaceful and beautiful. The hiking trails were a lot of fun. And more than 2' of fresh snow just topped it off. Wonderful! We've been coming with our family for more than 40 years. This year our 4-year old grandson learned to ski.

Cared for Cozy Cabin in great location

Cozy isn't for everyone, but it sure was for us! The Bear Cabin is thoughtfully appointed, and it is charming as can be. The exceptional service, prompt response from management when we had questions and especially when we needed to extend our stay coupled with the great fireplace, well equipped kitchen and great location made it a great great stay! There were a few small things we will reach out to BWV about but if anything they are to make an already awesome place even better. It is clear they care about the guest experience and have no doubt they do everything they can to make the Bear Cabin stays wonderful.

Amazing cabin weekend!

My husband, two boys, parents and two dogs just stayed for a few nights in the Bear Cabin. We’ve made a tradition of booking weekends away at various cabins, mostly in New Hampshire. This stay far exceeded our expectations! Nicest cabin we have ever stayed at. We loved the fire pit and hot tub, and the well groomed walking path to the river. My boys (7 & 8 yrs) loved the little bed coves in the loft area. This property is nestled into the snow capped mountains, which provide a spectacular view! We learned that Alex, the owner who lives in a gorgeous log home on the property, manages over 100 properties in the area. Knowing now the quality of his rentals, I would confidently seek out his properties in the future. 10/10!

Great Location

Perfect location, close to ski slopes. We were able to run home to let the dog out and have lunch and go back to the slopes for the afternoon. Kids loved the loft area. So nice to sort of be tucked away from it all in the woods, but close to everything at the same time. They do need to change the timing of a pump that ran one night around 1am (scared me to death, but I am a light sleeper) and there were dead black carpenter ants I had to sweep up each morning b/c of the traps that were put out (which were working). Relatively clean, I had to clean the floor twice when we first got there b/c our socks were turning brown on the bottom, maybe just not great maid service prior to our arrival. But owners were very nice and we enjoyed our stay.

Terrific location

The property location is spectacular with view of Bretton Woods west mountain. The property itself is beautiful. Trails were an easy walk even in a foot of new snow. Close to the mountain and Crawford Notch hiking. The house itself is as advertised- warm and comfortable with everything we needed!

Amazing Stay!

We had the best time! We went for our friends birthday to relax and have some fun by the river and fire pit... and of course nature. This place was amazing :) The space outside with the fire pit was done so well. The trail to the river was clean and easy to follow. Everything was just perfect, the space was beautiful, and the staff was so helpful. The river was a blast - I would totally recommend bringing water shoes! The water was so clear but there were small rocks and sand - so it was super helpful to have water shoes! I can't wait to come back to this little slice of heaven. The attention to detail was much appreciated - 100% an A++ Stay!
