Loved this place

I have stayed at the Hotel numerous times, and while I love it, it's pricey. There were 2 couples this time and for slightly more than what we would pay for one room, we had a beautiful home for the weekend within walking distance to the hotel. The only negative is that reservations in the main dining room for dinner were not available until 8 PM, but that was not a big impediment as we had plenty to do. Highly recommend this property which was perfect.

Family ski condo

We had a nice stay over Christmas vacation week. The townhouse was clean and the management company does a nice job communicating. We appreciate that we could bring our dog, had plenty of space to spread out with a few extras like puzzles. It has a gas fireplace. The drive to the ski mountain is about 2 minutes (a complimentary shuttle would have been convenient but they did provide the contact info for local shuttle services). Also it's a 10 minute walk to the hotel, we walked over to see the New Year's Eve fireworks, which our son later told us he could see from the window . Thanks for a great stay!

Had a great stay!

We stayed at Bretton Woods FV27 when attending a family wedding. We had a very comfortable stay. The house was clean and spacious with a nice view. Everything was labeled and well organized. We had all the essential items that we were looking for. Not to mention nice extra touches like makeup wipes, cotton swabs, and Q-tips. It was less than a 5-minute drive to the Omni Hotel where we attended the events. Our family had rented a few other units nearby and we could walk across and meet with them during our stay. Would recommend staying here if you are visiting the area for a few days!

Very comfortable

Perfect and comfortable condo for a family of 5 ski trip to bretton woods. Kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable with nice bedding. Plenty of common space to watch tv and enjoy meals.

Great Property, well appointed, great location

We decided to have a ski weekend for my son’s birthday with family friends. The place was very clean and well appointed. Kitchen has all the requirements for staying in and cooking meals. Fireplace provided great ambience as if we were seated at the lodge and view out the back porch or the ski mountain and lifts. Was able to bring our dogs and they loved laying by the fire. Again very enjoyable and management co was fantastically responsive. A+ experience!!

Fall splendor in a terrific place

Wonderful property up the hill from the golf course. Looking straight up at the Bretton Woods ski area. Very well equipped and comfortable for 6+ adults. Perfect location. Exactly as advertised. The electronic key makes checking in a breeze. We will return!!

Couldn't have been better!

Our family just enjoyed Labor Day weekend in Marjorie's home and were delighted to find that this wasn't a rental - it was a home away from home. Everything was stocked, tasteful, and comfortable. We hiked, played golf, went up the Cog Railway, hung out at the Mt. Washington pool, went to the Spa, had drinks on the Mt. Washington veranda, ate out, ate in and had the best time ever. If you're looking for a great experience, this is definitely the place. In fact, we enjoyed it so much, we are thinking about buying a unit in this development!

Great option for a family stay

This townhouse was the perfect option for our family stay. Our niece was getting married at the Omni Hotel. Our family of 6+ enjoyed staying all together in one space, enjoying our own favorite foods prepared in the fantastic kitchen ( with every gadget you could ever think of, and some you would never even think of !) The view of the mountain was beautiful. We had a couple of great summer hikes. There was a notebook outlining every possible detail of the home. The beds...very comfortable. Lots of clean linens. Thanks for a great stay !

A great place!

The place was just wonderful. It was extremely and clean and well kept. Everything one would need was there. It was so comfortable that we ate every meal in, rather than going out. The owner was cooperative and very helpful (especially when I couldn't figure out how to operate the TV remote). We had the feeling that we were staying at a friend's home. The place is centrally located in New Hampshire's White Mountains (in the shadow of Mt. Washington), with a lot to do (and a lot to view) in every direction. If we return to the White mountains I would not hesitate to rent this listing again. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a relaxing and comfortable visit to the White Mountains.

Wedding Weekend

We had the opportunity to attend a wedding at the Mt. Washington Resort and were looking for a home rather than a hotel to stay at, maybe cook a meal or two. We even had fresh blueberries ripe for the picking outside the back door which we enjoyed for breakfast! This home was perfect, so comfortable and very nicely appointed with every amenity possible. The home was very clean and well maintained. Marjorie, the owner, was very nice to work with and helpful with all my many questions. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a little getaway. The setting is gorgeous with lots of trails in the area. We would have loved to have had more time to see more of the area. We look forward to visiting again when time allows.

Mountain Escape

My husband and I just arrived home today from a wonderful week in Bretton Woods. Our family including our two little grandchildren spent a few days with us and we all had a fabulous time. The condo is spectacular and actually exceeded our expecations. Everything is top notch with a great kitchen and equipped as well as mine at home. We owned in Bretton Woods for many years and it was and is a very special place for us. We felt as at home in this unit as we did in our own. Marjorie is lovely to deal with and very accommodating. We plan to spend a week or longer next year and will definitely rent this unit again. The Mt Washington Hotel and Resort is a short walk from the condo and has all the amenities you could ask for with 27 holes of golf, tennis, a very nice spa and restaurants. Storyland, Clark's Trading Post, The Alpine Slide and several other attractions are within a half hour drive and they are all wonderful for kids and grandkids. If you are looking for a great place to stay, relax and enjoy all the mountains have to offer, this is the place. We have rented several condos in Bretton Woods since selling our own and this is by far the best. Thanks for a great stay.

It's the Little Things That Set This Place Apart

We stayed here in June 2011. The listing and photos are as described - and the reality is even better. The condo features a beautiful kitchen with top appliances. If that's not enough to set it apart from other listings, it's that the little things were thought of - room darkening shades/curtains, goodie bag of toiletries if you forgot something, anything you'd need for cooking, etc. Very comfortable and homey. I always have trouble falling asleep in a new bed - not here! This condo is on a cul-de-sac, so it's very peaceful. When my family returns, (not IF, but WHEN), I will bring my children's bikes. Very well situated - halfway in between StoryLand and Santa's Village and just down the road from the Cog Railroad - the area is centrally located for skiiing, sightseeing, hiking or golf. My husband and I enjoyed wine, cheese and crackers (there is a market 3 minutes away) on the front porch, which if you arrange the chairs just right has a view of Mt. Washington. (What you see in pics is the back deck.) For skiers, there is a nice area to take off/store your skis and coats before you enter. Bathroom counters are low, good for children or for those with special needs. (Although if someone is in a wheelchair, FYI there are two steps to get up into the house.) There is satellite TV, with a TV in every bedroom. The owner Marjorie is very accommodating. We mentioned that we needed a bed rail for my 3 year old, and it was purchased and set up on the bed when we arrived. We took nice, long, quiet walks at dusk, and I can see how the area would be great for cross-country skiing too. The grounds of the Mt. Washington Hotel are nearby, which are beautiful during the day, and they give you a good-spooky feeling at dusk (for those who read Stephen King!). I am racking my brain to think of something even mildly negative, and the only thing I can think of is that you have to reach into the gas fireplace to turn it on. (I'm used to a switch on the wall.) But this is so minor. We come to NH every year, always trying some place different. Not anymore. Marjorie has her first "regular". :-)
