Great Location, But Worn, Uncomfortable, and Misrepresented

We were very disappointed with our stay here. The actual condition of the apartment did not match the pictures in the listing. The space felt old and worn, with some furniture broken, and the beds were extremely uncomfortable. Several of the window blinds were either broken or missing, affecting both privacy and light control.The check-in process was also problematic — the host failed to mention that an alarm system was armed, and we accidentally set it off at 11:30 PM on our arrival night. This was stressful and could have been avoided with better communication.The accessibility of the unit was challenging. The elevator starts from the second floor, so there are stairs to climb before you can even use it. Access to the rooftop was through a very awkward skylight, which was difficult to navigate.Other details made the stay frustrating: bedside lamps used UK plugs and weren’t even plugged in; the AC unit worked, but it was noisy and clearly very old.The one positive was the location, which was convenient for exploring Prague. Unfortunately, the overall condition, comfort, and communication fell far short of expectations, and the listing felt misleading.

What a way to stay in Prague

Our family stayed last december- all adults. this property had the best views of the city from the fun roof top!. We had so much room- its really 2 units - plenty of room for a large family or 2 separate families. Prime location to all the sights with fabulous shopping and restaurants. Unit was on the top floor with an elevator but there was stairs to climb. Parking is difficult in the city but we parked at a nearby garage. The unit was very clean and plenty of storage. We also appreciated the washer and dryer!. We would've loved to stay longer. communication with the property owner was great and all our questions and concerns addressed Thank you for a great experience!!

Perfect location!

We absolutely loved Prague and this apartment made our stay extra enjoyable. The location was absolutely perfect. We could walk to everything. As a family of five, everyone had their own space. It was quiet and clean, and the owner was very nice and easy to communicate with. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Perfect location for a big group

Great location, close to major sights and museums, restaurants, the square and shopping. Everything was walking distance. The check in process was very smooth. it was 8 of us and we were very comfortable, thank you!

Excellent accomodations!

This location was an excellent home for our 5-day visit to Prague. Conveniently located to major sites, it also felt like we were part of the local community. The elevator was helpful as it was located on the 5th floor. Ample space for all of us to spread out and the included A/C was essential as it was boiling hot during our visit but not in the accommodation! Kitchen/kitchenettes were fully stocked for any and all cooking needs. The 2nd stovetop was tricky to figure out how to work but we just used the 2nd one instead which was more clearly marked. We were grateful for the washer/dryer as well. The rooms were in good condition when we arrived, ready for our use. We did not need anything additional for our stay. Only two small criticisms - the A/C unit in the 2nd living room had a clear leak (and previously known due to the presence of a bowl under it upon our arrival) which probably should be serviced to prevent further water damage to the floor. Also, we were not informed about the mandatory tourist fee for visitors until the night before checkout so this perhaps could be listed so future visitors know to save some local currency to be able to easily pay. All in all, everyone in our group thought it was a great location and lodging and would recommend without hesitation.

The Perfect Prague Trip

This was our second time in Prague to see our daughter perform with Prague Summer Nights. We wanted to be in Old Town and this was the perfect location. Centrally located to the river, major sights and museums, restaurants, the square and shopping. Everything was walking distance and we made the most of it. The check in process was very smooth and the owner and his rep in town could not have been more helpful. We had my in-laws and son with us, so 7 total and it was comfortable and spacious in the u it. We especially enjoyed watching the sun go down on the rooftop terrace, an amazing feature of this apartment. It was excellent overall, highly recommend for a trip to Prague.

Best Location, Host, and Rental in Prague

There is not enough great things we can say about this trip! Right from the beginning our host made sure everything was perfect. Checking in with us even before the trip to make sure we had no issues, no questions, and that we had their contact information. This continued throughout the whole trip. They also made went the extra mile and made sure that our car was registered with the right authorities before we got there allowing us to park in the Blue Zone. On arrival we found the apartment very clean. The apartment offered refreshing AC after each day of traveling the city with not much AC throughout the city. There were games within the apartment that helped the kids stay busy when we were getting the nightly choirs done. The rooftop offered such a unique and neat perspective of Prague. It was also very large and had all the room that we needed plus some. If you have a big group this is the place. The location could not have been any better for all the activities we had planned. It is so close to so many of the attractions and restaurants. If you are going to Prague and you need a place to stay you have found it.

Excellent location in Old Town for larger groups

We were traveling as a large group and this apartment arrangement was perfect for our needs. There were more beds than we even needed and several rooms to accommodate the different needs of the group. The location really can’t be beat as it is walking distance to the Astronomical Clock and the Town Square as well as the Prague Castle. The only challenge was finding the nearest parking garage, but once we found it we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Absolutely would recommend and would stay again.

Great stay in Prague

The apartment has a fabulous location and is spacious. Our family of 6 adults (parents and kids) had plenty of room. Beds were very very firm and pillows were not the greatest, but other than that it was a perfect stay.

I have been welcoming guest to Prague, since 2020. I operate the apartment on other well known booking platforms, and it is relatively new to VRBO, however as we look forward to the Season of 2023, I hope that many of you will wish to book.

Step into the Old Town Square (Staroměstské náměstí) and journey back in time, 600 or 700 years. As you stand in awe, the dramatic history of Prague permeates the air. The Old Town Square is one of two main squares in Prague (Wenceslas Square is the other, just 5 minutes walk away). With its ancient buildings and magnificent churches, this is one of the most beautiful historical sights in Europe. The Old Town Square dates from the 12th century and started life as the central marketplace for Prague. Over the centuries buildings of Romanesque, Baroque and Gothic styles were erected around the market, each bringing with them stories of wealthy merchants and political intrigue. The most notable sights on the square are the Old Town Hall Tower & Astronomical Clock, Tyn Church and St. Nicholas Church. At the centre of the Old Town Square is the Jan Hus statue, erected on the 6th July 1915 to mark the 500th anniversary of the reformer’s death. The groundswell of support for his beliefs during the 14th and 15th centuries led to the Hussite wars. To fully appreciate the beauty of the Old Town Square, sit back and soak up the atmosphere over a coffee or a cool beer at one of the pavement cafés lining the square. Or climb the Old Town Hall Tower for a stunning view over the square.
