Self Catering Holiday Cottage set in large peaceful secluded gardens with magnificent sea views. Coastal and downland walks from the door, beaches nearby including Steephill Cove. Free WiFi available. One of the best locations on the island. The accommodation blends Victorian character with modern comforts, and a top rating for cleanliness. Glorious sea views and red squirrels in the peaceful gardens add to your holiday. Close to Ventnor, nestled below the Undercliff, this beautiful area offers a warm and sheltered climate - testified by the exotic outdoor plants in the Ventnor Botanic Gardens. Ideal for out of season breaks. Suits couples and families. Private parking in the grounds by your door.

The refurbished character Cottage is set in the corner of the Woodcliffe grounds.
Ground Floor – lounge with double sofabed, small kitchen and bathroom. Stairs to:
1st Floor – one large double bedroom (extra small single bed on request).
Very private sun trap deck area with BBQ.

Fantastic property and location

We had a fantastic stay, the cottage was ideal and quiet and near some fantastic locations. Highly recommend steep hill cove and Compton bay. Bryce is a fantastic host with and excellent calm and helpful manner We will definitely be back 👍

Beautiful location

Great weeks stay in the cottage which had everything we needed. Beautiful location and fantastic views from the garden. Be aware that this place is a definite “get away from it all “ which suited us perfectly. Lovely coastal walks into Ventnor and Steephill Cove was a little gem.

Great little cottage and location

We really enjoyed our stay, helped of course by good weather. The cottage was well equipped, in a great location for the coastal paths and several close by coves/beaches. Very friendly host and gave lots of useful information.

Fabulous staycation

Great place to stay

This was a lovely cottage. Very clean and not tired looking as a previous reviewer had mentioned. It was very comfortable, everything we needed was available. The gardens have an amazing sea view and we’re lovely to sit in with a cup of tea. The outdoor seating area from the upstairs was delightful.

Enjoyed our stay at St Lawrence

Everything you could wish for. Good place to start wallks from too, right from the door. The only snag was the very steep drive with a bend. But that seems normal for Ventnor!

Great weekend break

This property was in a great location. The owner was welcoming and the accommodation was clean and tidy and the outlook lovely. We very much enjoyed our stay - our only comment would be that the flat we stayed in was a little weary and lacking personality. I imagine it has been well used and is just in need of a little tlc.

Wonderful

We just spent two, glorious weeks at Woodcliffe and enjoyed every minute. The property and surrounding areas are simply stunning, with so many beautiful walks available. The hosts are so friendly and helpful and are on site, if you need any pointers. Just can’t wait to return in the spring :)

Quiet location with great sea views from apartment. A great place to stay.

Well equipped apartment. Very understanding hosts - we arrived early due to snow and were given a warm welcome. Lovely walks on the coast easily accessible from here. Really enjoyed visit to Osbourne House and Bembridge worth a visit too.

Fantastic holiday home

We stayed in the lovely flat for three nights. The flat has great sea view, a balcony and a large garden. We have everything we need in the flat, it's just the right size for three of us. It's quiet, peaceful. There is a laundry room as well. Can't ask for a better place. Thank you!
