The St Clares Hideaway is a couples retreat with sea view

The Hideaway is a boutique style room with french doors leading onto a private decking area with stunning sea views.
The Hideaway has an ensuite shower room, a hollywood style basin and make up space.
Wake up to a sea view and look out to sea from the decking area - there is a large armchair at the end of the decking to fully take in the view!
The Hideway offers ground coffee, instant coffee , tea, fresh milk and sugar and sweetner, a bottle of white wine and isle of wight biscuits.
There is a kettle, fridge , toaster, crockery and glasses available for your use, There is a radio and TV for your enjoyment.
The Hideway is perfectly situated within 5 minute walking distance to the beach and town centre, so you are close to the local bars and restaurants.
If youre looking for a quiet getaway then this is the place!

Judith runs a beautiful home practice, which is situated right next door to the Hideaway, in the main house.
Judith specialises in relaxation and sports massage treatments.
She also offers one to one personal training sessions.
The Sanctury Room has a Zen like feel, incredibly relaxing with a panoramic sea view!

The single room was much smaller than we imagined, it was very poorly lit and laid out. We would sum it up by saying it was adequate and not uncomfortable but didn't wow us in any sense!

Weekend break

Lovely little apartment with a great view in a good location. The only downside for me were the 2 sets of steep stairs leading up to the property. Being on my own, and on the older side, with 2 dogs and luggage, I struggled with these. I had a fantastic time though, with lots to see and do.

A romantic weekend

I chose this accomodation to celebrate my 10th wedding anniversary. It was a dream come true. Everything was absolutely perfect: a romantic nest only a stroll from the centre of Ventnor, bedroom overlooking the sunset on the sea. Great host! What more do you want? I highly reccomend it.

Perfect for our stay

This adorable little getaway was exactly what my husband and I needed while we were on the Isle of Wight for a friend’s wedding. Judith was a great host and answered quickly whenever I had a question. My only regret is that we didn’t take Judith up on her massage services! We would stay again. :)

A bit of a maze to find but the directions sent by the host made it a lot easier, gorgeous room, very clean! Such a lovely little terrace

A fabulous getaway

A hidden gem, in such a nice area and the hostess Judith very professional and helpful providing a lovely treat in Ventnor( Isle of Wight) for a real getaway holiday much needed and to include a well to do ‘ Welcome Pack’ and linen to stay “ ThankYou Judith, We will be back “Nigel, Michelle @ Jacque 🐕.

Unfortunately couldn’t stay

Sorry to say when we got to property, directions & check in was ok, but on opening doors there was a bad damp smell. On looking at accommodation there was evidence of mould, and looked like it had tried to be painted over. On opening the kettle, we definitely didn’t want to use it. Unfortunately decided we couldn’t stay for the 3 days booked. Let the host know via message, she apologised & part refunded on the advice of Vrbo. It ruined our stay really, as it took 3 hours of searching online & going into various hotels until we finally found one, at extra cost to ourselves.

A spring break

Compact but has all that we needed, with only a short walk to seaside or town, with lots of steps or steep gradients. Owner available if needed, bonus of secluded parking. In all a very good time was had.

Glorious bolthole with views to die for❤️

Perfect spot

Lovely stay here in this great little property. Great location above the coastal path. I enjoyed the view from the terrace whilst eating breakfast! Bed comfortable and nice hot shower after several days walking . Would certainly stay here again

Glorious RetreatA*****

Just a perfect place. Secluded but accessible. Clean. Pretty. View to die for. Everything you need. A wonderful bolt hole from which to explore Ventnor and the island. And if fit, you can walk down to the prom via a 'hidden' path from the green. 5 mins and a full breakfast and coffee can be enjoyed. Then take your beach stuff and enjoy the sand and sea below. 🌊. Watch the boats go by from the viewing balcony of the hideaway. Yachts. Fishermen. Jet skis. Listen to the gulls. Enjoy the tranquility. Just bring yourself and your clothes. St Clares Hideaway and host Judith provides the rest. Even filter coffee and a cafetiere 👍. Picture postcard perfect.

Lovely view on the sea

There is all you need in the appt of Judith for a trip on the Isle of Wight and the terrace with the view is just perfect. The localization is also really good and near to the sea and all shops. I recommend !
