Place is as described. Close to all the good restaurants. Nice outdoor screened in patio, perfect place if you have a small pet.

We had a wonderful and cozy stay! The decor was charming and thoughtfully put together, and everything we needed was provided for us.One small concern was the microwave — it was quite rusted inside, and I was hesitant to use it due to safety worries. It might be a good idea to replace it. Also, the internet wasn’t working during our stay, so I had to rely on my own hotspot. Thankfully, that wasn’t a major issue.We especially loved spending time outside; it was breezy, peaceful, and added to the charm of the place.Overall, it was a lovely stay, and we’d definitely love to come back again!

Great location

Location always excellent. Older home but kept up pretty well. AC works great! Small yard for dogs. Bed and furniture very comfortable. The cleaning company could have done a better job as the floor was dirty and needed to be mopped when we arrived.

Sandfest Getaway

This house was just right for a couple. We had two small dogs that we brought and they had a blast also . Love that it is one level. Of course the Sandfest sand storm did a small number on the screened porch and downspout, but we loved it. Location is perfect.

Port Aransas Trojan Street

Overall the place was great! It had room for our dog, a doggie door and fenced yard! Walked to the beach in about ten minutes. The house was built in the 1970’s. Will need a bit of work on the floor around the shower, and could use a bit more TLC on the yard and plants in the front yard. Planning on on going back soon!

Great Yard and screened in porch!

This bungalow is a cute quaint spot that fit our family well. The screened in porch, outdoor shower and yard were the best part! The bed is a little on the hard side (bring a mattress pad) but the home is very cozy and comfy. Location is great for getting around the island and it was very nice and quiet for our little family of 3 plus our pup. If you’re looking for an inexpensive spot for the family this will cover your needs. We enjoyed our time and will rent again! :)

Le Chateau was perfect for us with a fenced yard and all conveniences other than a dishwasher. It was clean and accommodating - also conveniently located in the older area of the town and close to our favorite restaurants.

Don’t do it!

Sure it’s cute but it’s all the little things that made this a terrible experience. First you have to pick up 2 sets of keys but they don’t work since they changed out the door locks. Then there was tons of dogs poop in the yard and walkway. Thanks for the poop on my shoeThere are major electrical issues here. We were worried it was going to go out completely. Then the house was not very clean at all.

We had two instances that made us not be able to make it and they were so accommodating and understanding. I would give them at 10/10 for their attentiveness to us and their empathy!!! We were so bummed we could not make it because this place was perfect for us and our dogs. I highly highly recommend this place to anyone heading down to Port A. We will be making the trip next summer.

4th of July stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had 2 issues with the house upon arrival and after calling the office someone was at the house within 20mins. The house is old, the floors are slanted, the outside tv is on its last leg. Just some small things that needed attention and were taken care of as soon as they could. The house is perfect for 2 people and maybe 2 small children. Overall stay was not bad at all. Port A Escapes was great to work with and answer all calls and service requests very quickly.

Cons 1.the grass needed to be mowed making it hard to do poop patrol 2. There were ants in the kitchen/living room. 3. The a/c was not functioning fully requiring the use of portable a/c units and "hot spots" in the house. Pros - 1. Pet could join us. 2. Location close to food, beach and activities. 3. Well supplied with dishes, toiletries etc. 4. Property management was responsive and very friendly.
