Formidable !

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine au pied de l'Etna. Le logement est conforme au photos de l'annonce, bien équipé, au calme et le jardin est sublime. Gabriella et Alfio sont des hôtes charmants, chaleureux, discrets, donnant toujours de bons conseils pour les visites. Merci Gabriella pour ton accueil et ta gentillesse. Un séjour juste parfait

Gabriella nous a accueillie avec son sourire, sa gentillesse et ses excellents produits. Sur place ils vendent également des produits qu’ils cultivent eux mêmes. Le logement était propre, il convient parfaitement pour 4 personnes. Il s’agit d’une petite maison mitoyenne sur leur terrain. Le jardin est juste magnifique avec sa verdure, sa piscine, la vue de la piscine et le coin repas. Un grand merci également à son mari pour l’excursion sur l’Etna. Une grande voiture n’est pas recommandée car les routes sont assez étroites. Encore un grand merci.

Schöne Unterkunft in ruhiger, etwas abgelegener Lage

Der Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft war sehr schön. Als Gabriella ist super nett. Wir haben etwas selbstgemachte Marmelade und eine Flasche eigenen Wein bekommnen. Es gibt diverses Gemüse und Eier, die man sich für einen kleinen Beitrag nehmen kann. Der Pool war schon recht kühl, aber das ist wahrscheinlich normal für Oktober. Vom Pool aus hat man eine schöne Sicht auf den Ätna. Parkplätze gibt es genug. Auf ein Auto ist man auch angewiesen, in direkter, fußläufiger Umgebung gibt es nicht viel. Mit dem Auto zum Strand sind es ca. 15 min. Zum Ätna ca 30 min. Uh empfehlen ist auch das Body rafting in der Alcantara Schlucht und Taormina (beides ca. 45 min.).

Beautiful apartment with a view of the Etna

We stayed in the ground floor apartment, in a beautiful and well-kept garden. The hostess, her son and her husband gave us a warm welcome and were a great help to us. The place itself and the pool are very clean and nice, and we had a wonderful and peaceful holiday there. There are lots of interesting places to go to in the surrounding area. The neighbourhood was not so clean (garbage along the streets), but that was the case almost everywhere in Sicily.

Petit coin de paradis

Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été touchés par l'accueil chaleureux de nos hôtes. Ils s'étaient même assurés d'avoir quelqu'un à la maison pour traduire, malgré notre arrivée plus tardive que prévu. Ils nous ont offert du vin et des confitures ainsi que des conseils sur la région. Ils ont été tout simplement parfaits. Les photos ne rendent pas compte de la beauté des lieux et de toute l'attention mise aux détails et à l'entretien. La piscine impeccable avec la vue sur l'Etna, les espaces communs, le BBQ. Nous avons apprécié chaque instant. L'intérieur de notre appartement était impeccable. Il y avait toutes les commodités nécessaires et la climatisation/eau chaude fonctionnaient parfaitement. Nous avons séjourné 7 jours en avons pu visiter toute la côte est, Taormine, Giardini Naxos, les 3 Aci, catane, Syracuse et bien sûr l'Etna. Un grand merci à vous pour votre accueil, le meilleur que nous ayions eu en Sicile! Au plaisir.

Superschöner Garten und tolle Gastgeber

Das Wetter im Oktober war nicht der Knüller, trotzdem haben wir den Aufenthalt bei Gabriella & Alfio sehr genossen. Unser Sohn war trotz kühlen Temperaturen im Pool, beim überdachten Grillplatz kann man auch bei Nieselregen mal gemütlich draussen sitzen. Gabriella hat uns mit selbstgemachter Konfi & Muffins, Kaffee und Tipps von der Nonna gegen Insektenstiche verwöhnt. Danke, es war schön!

Grüne Oase am Etna

Wir bedanken uns bei den tollen Gastgebern für den herzlichen Aufenthalt in der Case di bacco. Unsere Urlaubstage dort verbrachten wir sehr gerne und entspannt. Im weitläufigen Garten fand sich auch bei Regen ein schönes und trockenes Plätzchen zum Verweilen. Das Haus mit samt Garten und Pool sind sehr einladend und gepflegt. Die Einrichtung der Unterkunft schlicht, es fehlte an nichts. Die Gastgeber*in ist stets hilfsbereit und liebenswürdig. Sehr herzig sind auch die Tiere des Hauses und der benachbarte Esel. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft sehr gerne für entspannte Tage jenseits des Küstenrummels.

Un cadre unique

Séjour magnifique dans un cadre tout à fait particulier. Cette propriété absolument charmante nous a offert un séjour absolument unique. L'Etna, en éruption, nous a offert un spectacle magique. Gabriella et Alfio, les propriétaires étaient aux petits soins pour nous. Tout en sachant rester discrets, nous pouvions compter sur eux si nous avions besoin de quoi que ce soit. Gabriella nous faisait partager sa cuisine et son limoncello, et Alfio son bon vin de la propriété. Tout était très bien entretenu, très vert malgré un climat très chaud. La piscine était toujours très propre et agréable, avec l'Etna comme point de vue. Un séjour extraordinaire!

Einfach nur empfehlenswert

Das Appartement von Gabriella ist einfach nur perfekt. Sehr liebevoll angelegter Garten, tolles und sehr sauberes Appartement, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Gabriella hat uns mit selbstgemachter Marmelade begrüßt. Gerade für Kinder ein Paradies: es gibt ein Baumhaus und der Pool ist natürlich auch klasse und sehr gepflegt. Vielen lieben Dank an Gabriella und Alfio für die schönen Tage auf Sizilien!

Prachtige tuin, appartement van alle gemakken voorzien.

Heerlijke week gehad! Het was even zoeken maar toen we de villa gevonden hadden waande we ons in een waar paradijs. De tuin is zo mooi idyllisch met een overvloed aan bloemen en de prachtige olijf- en citrusbomen. Een heerlijk zwembad met uitzicht op de rokende etna was zo bijzonder! Het zwembad is niet groot maar omdat het erg rustig was hadden we het vaak voor onszelf. Genoeg ligbedden en parasols voor schaduw. We hadden een appartement op de begane grond met eigen terass in de prachtige tuin en ook voldoende schaduw. Appartement had een grote slaapkamer met tweepersoonsbed en boven de woonkamer een vliering met tweepersoonsbed en 1 persoonsbed. Was prima voor onze kinderen. Airco werkte goed en was ook hard nodig! Badkamer prima en netjes. Handdoeken lagen klaar bij aankomst. Keuken klein maar prima, geen vaatwasser aanwezig. Wel grote koelkast. Ontvangst was erg hartelijk! Gabriella en haar zoon waren erg behulpzaam en vroegen regelmatig of we nog iets nodig hadden. De gezamenlijke plek in de tuin met overkapping is fijn om 's avonds aan te zitten. Daar kan je ook BBQen. Er is een wasmachine aanwezig. Je zit boven op een heuvel dus moet de heuvel afrijden om ergens naar toe te kunnen. Auto is dus zeer aan te raden! De kust is op ongeveer 20 minuten rijden. De Etna op ongeveer 30 minuten. Stadjes als Taormina en Castelmola zijn op 40 minuten afstand. Naxos Beach is zeer aan te raden. Mooi zandstrand. Ligbedden huren is ideaal en niet heel duur. €20 voor 2 bedden en parasol. Eten en drinken is goed betaalbaar. Wij zouden graag nog eens naar deze plek terug gaan!

Amazing views of Etna from the beautiful gardens of this property!

We have just spent a very enjoyable week at Case di Bacco in it's unique location. Our 2 bedroom appartment was ideal and well equipped for our family of 4 with wifi (much appreciated by our teenagers) and air con (very welcome coming in from 33 degree heat some days). The gardens surrounding the appartment are beautiful and you get a great view of Etna whilst relaxing by the pool. Gabriella, Alfio and Ricardo were very attentive and friendly hosts and happy to advise on places to see and eat. One of the most enjoyable and memorable days of our week was the excursion up to Etna which Alfio took us on in his jeep. Alfio and his son Ricardo were able to give us a tour of north Etna and introduced us to some of the excellent food specialities of the region. Zafferano Etnea is a very lively local town which had entertaining music and dancing going on around the main square in the week we were there. We also enjoyed and were very impressed by the sites and culture at Catania, Taormina and Syracuse. You definitely need a car to explore this area as the property is quite remote. For those that enjoy relaxing with great views, eating good food, drinking good local wine and exploring sites of architectural/archaelogical significance, this is a great holiday! Fabulous Stay

We had a wonderful stay. The garden and surrounds were beautiful, as was the view of Etna. Whilst calm and peaceful there were a number of excellent restaurants and wineries within a short drive. It was also super convenient to visit a number of key attractions as it was just of the express way. The host family were incredibly welcoming and accommodating whilst respecting privacy. We are planning to visit again soon as we thoroughly enjoyed the property and Sicily.

Un splendide environnement et un accueil très soigné.

Nous avons passé chez Gabriella un séjour dont nous garderons de très bons souvenirs. Le logement est très confortable, moderne et propre et l'environnement est des plus ressourçants. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le contact que nous avons eu avec Gabriella et sa famille et nous les remercions pour toutes leurs sincères attentions! Nos enfants ont véritablement été touchés par leur gentillesse et adoré l'environnement (terrain de foot, balançoire, cabane dans les arbres, animaux). Nous recommendons vivons ce logement si vous êtes à la recherche d'un véritable dépaysement.

Excellent séjour à la CASE DI BACCO

Nous avions loué du 19/07 au 07/08/2018 , nous serions bien restés quelques jours de plus car nous nous sentions bien dans cette petite maison . Nous étions 3 , mon épouse , ma fille de 14 ans et moi même et nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances. A notre arrivée , nous avons été accueilli par Ricardo , le fils de la maison qui a présenté notre location . Sur la table , 2 pots de confiture maison et une fiole de vin maison également nous attendaient . Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir du beau temps et nous avons vécu presque exclusivement dehors : matin , midi et soir. Lors du séjour , Gabriella et son mari nous ont invité à une fête ( le jour de l’éclipse de lune )où nous avons pu déguster toutes les spécialités des pizzas faites entièrement maison et cuites dans le four à pizza qui a été fabriqué avec de la pierre de lave de l'Etna . Nous avons bu aussi du vin de la propriété et goûté le limoncello fait par Gabriella . Il est dommage que ,ne parlant pas italien , la communication fut assez difficile mais heureusement il y avait Ricardo qui faisait office d'interprète. La propriété se situant sur les contreforts de l'Etna , un peu en hauteur , nous n'avons pas souffert de la chaleur ( jusqu'à 40 ° C ) Ma fille a pu profiter de la piscine , tous les jours pendant que nous nous reposions dans des transats autour de celle ci. Nous étions entourés d'arbres fruitiers ,(citrons, pamplemousses, oranges) et de vignes ,dans un jardin très fleuris que Gabriella soigne avec amour. Nous avons apprécié également la disponibilité , la gentillesse et l'amabilité de toute la famille de Gabriella La location est bien située . Nous avons pu visiter toute la côte est de la Sicile de Syracuse à Messine sans oublier l'Etna à 30 minutes . Wunderbare Tage am Ätna - wonderful days on the slope of mount Etna

Wir haben im Juli zwei herrliche Wochen in Le Case di Bacco verbracht. Der idyllische Garten und die große Gastfreundschaft von Gabriella, Alfio und Riccardo waren wunderbar und sehr beeindruckend. Unsere Wohnung war sehr sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Meistens haben wir uns aber draußen auf der schönen Terrasse aufgehalten. Unsere Kinder haben den Pool genossen. Wer sich an bellenden Hunden und krähenden Hähnen stört, sollte sich überlegen, ob dieser Ort der richtige ist. Für uns war die Abgeschiedenheit und Idylle der Anlage genau das richtige. Die beschriebenen Laute haben uns nicht gestört. Für Ausflüge und Anreise braucht man auf jeden Fall ein Auto. Dann sind aber alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten innerhalb von max. ca. 2 Stunden Fahrt zu erreichen. Taormina ist sogar nur etwa 30 min. entfernt. Wir können die Unterkunft wärmstens Menschen empfehlen, die Natur und etwas Abstand zum Trubel der Stadt genießen wollen und werden sicher noch einmal wiederkommen! We stayed in Santa Venerina for 2 weeks in July and enjoyed our stay very much. The appartment and garden are very clean. The garden and surrounding nature are very beautiful and if you seek a vacation a little off limits of your city's noise then you are perfectly well at Le Case di Bacco. The hosts, Gabriella, Alfio and their son Riccardo are extremly hospitable and generous. They provide you with ideas for trips around the island. If you don't like the sound of barking dogs or chicken you should consider another accomodation. A car is a must. Without a car it will be hard to reach Santa Venerina. With a car you can reach Taormina in 30 min, Syracuse in an hour and most of the other sights in 2 hours max. Our kids enjoyed the tree house, the garden and most of all the swimming pool. We can fully recommend this accomodation and will most certainly come back in future. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!
