Merci pour votre avis et vos mots d'appréciation pour notre maison. Cependant, nous sommes désolés d'apprendre que vous avez eu froid malgré le chauffage jour et nuit. La semaine au cours de laquelle vous avez séjourné chez nous a été particulièrement pluvieuse, mais la température extérieure n'est jamais très basse en Sicile et ce n'était même pas cette semaine-là. Ayant une pompe à chaleur très efficace pour chaque pièce de la maison, il semble difficile que la température intérieure soit moins que confortable. Nous avons reçu des invités tout au long des mois de décembre et janvier de cette année et, malgré un hiver inhabituellement pluvieux, personne ne s'est plaint d'un quelconque inconfort. Nous sommes désolés que votre séjour n'ait pas été entièrement satisfaisant car nous avons déployé des efforts considérables pour offrir un environnement confortable à nos invités. Thank you for your review and your words of appreciation for our home. We are sorry, however, to hear that you were cold despite the heating being on day and night. The week you stayed with us was particularly rainy but the outside temperature is never very low in Sicily and it was not that week either. Having a very efficient heat pump for every room in the house, it seems difficult to us that the internal temperature is not more than comfortable. We had guests for the entire months of December and January this year, and, despite it being an unusually rainy winter, no one complained of any discomfort.

Thank you very much for your review, we are pleased to hear that you had a nice time at "casa della Camelia" and found it comfortable and pleasant. We are sorry you did not tell us you would like to have a walk in the surroundings because we would have been happy to show you around and let you have a nice walk in our estate. Unfortunately the estates are gated here! We do hope you will come back soon and stay with us to explore our lemon groves and see more of Sicily that has a lot to offer!

We are really sorry to hear that you had such a bad experience at our house, actually we have rented it for 11 years and this is the first bad review we got. We have welcomed guests from all over the world and everybody loved the house and the location, let me say that we are proud of this, we are proud of offering a very clean and comfortable house, well equipped and set in a beautiful location. The house is perfectly accordant to the description given in the advert , on the contrary usually people say it's even better and larger than it looks in the pictures.Also nobody complained about being hot , as the house is surrounded by trees and has got thick walls, but you should have asked for some fans and we would have provided them. In the advert we don't say there is air conditioning so your complaints are unfair. About the noise: unfortunately in the period you stayed at the house there were some wedding parties at a nearby villa (but it's at 1 km anyway ) ,we are very sorry about this but we did all we could about this, we complained with the police and with the owner , and in fact since then they stopped the loud music earlier .This never happened before so we could not expect it , nevertheless we apologised with you many times even though it was not our fault as we really feel sorry if our guests are not happy with their accommodation . Let me say that you were pretty rude on the phone when you called me to complain about a fact that was completely unexpected and did not depend on us. Anyway since then no more loud music until late hours.And let me say that there were NEVER fireworks at 2 am.About the cats now: in that period there was ONE cat wandering around there ( there's no longer now and this was the first time that happened) , anyway the other guests who stayed with us last summer found it cute and almost adopted it , bought food for it and asked me to feed it .There are dogs around here but they DON'T bark continuously as you said , again I must say that nobody has complained neither about the dogs nor about the motorway so far , everybody found the place really relaxing. Finally about the fridge: we had to replace a fridge in the few hours between guests' check out and check in , the one we found was just a bit smaller than the fridge you usually find in the holiday accommodation, more than adequate ,in our opinion , to this kind of utilisation . Anyway we have now bought a larger fridge. Finally I want to say that I'm very sorry about your disappointment as I'm always sincerely very happy when our guests say they had a nice time but also I feel sad about your unfairness
