We had no reports of fire hazards or safety issues, and thousands of similar setups operate daily without “burning the place down.” As for the WiFi and bathroom door handle: We sent help promptly, and I’m glad you were able to assist with the minor fix. These are occasional maintenance items in any rental, not hotel-level service (which this isn’t). The detailed check-out instructions are standard for every VRBO whole-home rental I’ve ever seen—hardly unusual.
