Finca Santa Catalina Álora by Ruralidays

Holiday home with magnificent swimming pool for 6 people in Álora next to the train station.

The house has three double bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other two with single beds.
The house also has a bathroom with shower, a living room, a dining room and a kitchen.

Outside there is a large garden area around the swimming pool and a complete barbecue area. The estate where the house is located measures 10.000 square metres of which 1000 metres are manicured gardens and is cultivated with lemons, oranges and grapefruit. The main attraction outside is a centenary walnut tree whose shade invites you to take a relaxing break.

The swimming pool is divided into two areas for adults and children and the location of the house is ideal for visits to the beach or to the capital of the Costa del Sol.

We had a lovely holiday in this beautiful villa. Hiring a car is essential, although the train station is walking distance. Kids loved the pool. Only half an hour very easy drive to el choro lakes. The only downside was the lack of conventional oven, and the cooking equipment could do with updating. But we would happily visit again. Pepe and his lovely wife were great hosts. The pool was cleaned every day.

Lovely house and perfect location

The hosts were very helpful through our stay. The house and land was absolutely lovely. Pool area was fenced off so ideal for our young children. Restaurants within walking distance and supermarket within a 10 minute drive. Very large pool which was either heated or just very warm throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend

The lovely owners Pepe and Isabel met us at the house, showed us around, and explained how everything worked. The property is beautiful, with a fantastic pool area and gorgeous gardens that are very well maintained, and a lovely farm area with fruit trees. The house was spotlessly clean and everything we needed was provided for (no oven but an outdoor kitchen so we could bbq meat instead). Plenty of options for making a morning coffee or tea, which is always important! Great location for morning runs too - either up to Alora for a hilly run, or over the bridge behind to the villages/along the river for a run on the flat. Local people were all very friendly. Great location - shops and restaurants in Alora were walking distance up the hill, and the village just over the pedestrian bridge behind had small supermarkets. Some good restaurants nearby with lovely food too. Great hosts, stunning property, great location - I highly recommend.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in diesem wunderschönen , großen, kühlen Haus ,in dem es an nichts fehlt und dem traumhaft schönen ,sehr gepflegten Garten . Die Übergabe durch die Vermieter war supernett und unkompliziert . Schnelle Hilfe bei anfänglichen Wlan - Problemen. Danke ! Wir kommen gerne wieder !

Ein Erholsamer Urlaub

Ein sehr schönes Typisch Spanisches Anwesen wie wir es Lieben. Wir wurden sehr nett Empfangen und eingewiesen. Der Garten der Pool waren ein Traum. Die Duschstange im Bad sowie der Abfluss ist defekt und wurde schon von Vormietern bemängelt und nicht behoben. Was von grossen Vorteil wäre ist ein Kombi backofen .Damit man kleine Gerichte oder Brötchen aufbacken kann. Ansonsten haben wir uns sehr wohl gefuehlt. Dank Paco war der Garten schön gepflegt.
