A really magical stay. The views from the house are amazing, from both the front and rear terraces. To the rear you see the national park and hills, to the front you have close proximity of you own personal mountain. The house has everything that you need. The kitchen has everything, and more importantly is a very easy space to cook and prepare, whilst others drift around you! The short drive to the village gives also amazing views, past herds of goats with bells. Colin is very helpful and encouraged us to visit the local fiesta whilst we were there, which offered super paella at 2 euros a head. We have already booked for next year.

Wat een fantastisch huis in een fantastische omgeving met een geweldig uitzicht! In het echt nog mooier dan op de foto. Iedere dag kregen we bezoek van de steenbokken. Als je heel stil bij het zwembad ligt komen we er gewoon bij. Echt zo leuk! Het huis was van alle gemakken voorzien. Een complete keuken, ruime badkamers en heerlijk donkere en koele slaapkamers welke voorzien waren van een airco. We hadden voor 3 nachten geboekt maar zijn uiteindelijk 6 dagen gebleven. Zo blij dat we konden bij boeken! Colin, gastheer, erg behulpzaam. Hij heeft ons voorzien van veel informatie en tips! We komen zeker nog een keer terug!

Absolutely stunning location, with panoramic views for miles. Lovely interior. Great terraced gardens. Full size pool with plenty of room.

A beautiful property if your looking for a quiet stay in beautiful surroundings. We had an excellent stay. Colin was just absolutely brilliant. So helpful at answering my questions about the area and what was worth visiting. He was so helpful when we met him after driving from the airport. He took us to a local shop to buy supplies and took them in his car to the Villa. The Villa was just wonderful a well stocked kitchen with utensils, which so many villa's are not. A great BBQ lovely pool and cool rooms to sleep in the evenings with Air-con. All the family had a great time.

Goats Galore!

perfect home to visit Camino del Rey. views to die for. mountain goat visits at the pool was a highlight. Baby goats born recently learing to trek, never gets boring watching. Colin was most excellent host and his house is amazing. house was clean and everything worked and in good repair. pool was clean and nice that pool towels provided. had dinner on the back patio 2 nights and will never forget it...moonlight and stars lit up the mountain peak above and the valley sky below...and as a total bonus, not a single mosquito bite!

Wir haben hier übernachtet um den Caminito del Rey zu und El Torcal zu besuchen. Das Haus ist hierfür perfekt gelegen. Direkt an der Grenze zum Naturpark mit einer tollen Aussicht und sehr ruhigen Lage. Der Pool und das Haus sind in einem Top Zustand und sehr Sauber. Alle Schlafzimmer sind klimatisiert. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und sehr bemüht das unser Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich war. Es wurden auch Tipps und Empfehlungen für die Restaurants in der Nähe gegeben. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und waren vom Haus begeistert. Sogar die Steinböcke (auf einem der Fotos) kamen auf einen kurzen Besuch am Pool vorbei.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt

Wir verbrachten ein paar sehr erholsame Tage in dem schönen Ferienhaus von Colin und Francesca. Ausstattung, Sauberkeit und Kommunikation waren perfekt. Der Ausblick, die gute Lage zum Wandern und der tolle Pool waren wunderbar. Wir können das Ferienhaus sehr empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Charmantes Haus in schöner ruhiger Lage

Geräumiges Haus, mit schönem Garten und Pool. Wunderschöne Aussicht auf die umliegenden Berge. Wander- und Radwege führen direkt am Haus vorbei. Die umliegende Natur ist beeindruckend schön. Das Haus ist etwas abgelegen und die Schrotweg dorthin kann für Leute, die das nicht gewohnt sind, eine Herausforderung sein. Superfreundliche und hilfsbereite Besitzer. Wir waren hier im März, draußen war es 10/12 Grad am Tag und 6/8 Grad am nacht, mit eine Menge regen. In der Küche und im Wohnzimmer gibt es einen Kamin, der mit Brennholz befeuert wird. Andere Räume werden mit Klimaanlagen und Strom beheizt. Um das Haus richtig warm zu bekommen, muss man im Grunde den ganzen Tag drinnen bleiben und die Holzöfen anlassen.Aber Sie gehen tagsüber aus. Also morgens aufheizen und dann noch einmal am Nachmittag. Wir konnten das Haus nicht angenehm warm machen. Die Badewanne konnte nicht mit heißem Wasser gefüllt werden, weil der Boiler eine zu geringe Kapazität hat, um sie vollständig zu füllen. Wir hatten kein Glück mit dem Wetter, dann in ein kaltes Haus zu kommen ist nicht so angenehm ...

Stunning location

We had a wonderful stay at the villa and really made the most of it as the wet weather meant we had to stay in at times. We had beautiful views of the stunning mountain that we both hiked and climbed. We were warm and comfortable with plenty of firewood. The kitchen is super well equipped and it allowed for cooking for many people. The shop was about 15min drive in a near by village. There is enough communal space to spend time together as well as having time in our own rooms. The views and vegetation are magical. Would definitely come back! Thank you to our wonderful hosts for being very communicative and helpful!

Colin und Francesca sind sehr freundliche Vermieter, die jederzeit ansprechbar bzw. erreichbar sind und sich intensiv um das Wohlergehen ihrer Gäste kümmern.Die Finca entspricht in allem den Beschreibungen auf der Webseite. Leider waren wir zur Zeit der großen Jahrhundertflut dort und hatten dadurch Beeinträchtigungen für die niemand etwas konnte.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt

Wir waren zu zweit für 2 wunderschöne Wochen in diesem Haus. Es hat an nichts gefehlt, ausser etwas mehr Sonnenschein. :-) Das Haus liegt an einem Berg mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht rundum. Es ist völlig ruhig bis auf die Glöckchen der Ziegen. Wir konnten richtig die Seele baumeln lassen, die Kletterer, die Ziegen und die Greifvögel beobachten. Aufgrund der Abgeschiedenheit (was wir auch suchten) ist allerdings ein Auto von Nöten. Colin gab uns viele gute Tipps, um den Urlaub noch schöner zu machen. Danke hierfür nochmals. Wir können das Haus nur wärmstens empfehlen.

A true stand out property

The beauty of the setting and the property itself is stunning. The owners have worked to provide a gorgeous setting with a lot of room and a stand-out decor. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is well-appointed and the views are simply gorgeous. The owner greeted us personally and made sure that we knew just where we were going and where we could obtain provisions and go out to eat. That was a very nice feature. To be sure, those who are lucky enough to stay at this property should be prepared to enjoy "the joy of self-catering" (quote from Colin) and that is certainly reasonable. As such, travelers should expect to provide some of what otherwise might be included in other places they've stayed (example: laundry detergent, paper towels, garbage bags, extra toilet paper). That was easy for us to manage and did not detract one bit from the pleasure of our stay. I've stayed in many countries at many properties and I would rank this as one of the lovliest. .

Tolles Haus und super Gastgeber

Perfekte Lage für Wanderung auf Caminito del Rey und Umgebung. Sehr sympathische und nette Gastgeber. Das Haus ist wunderschön, vor allem die tollen Terrassen mit einem gigantischem Ausblick.

Fantastische plek!

Wij hebben een fantastische vakantie gehad in een idyllisch huis met prachtig uitzicht. Colin is een geweldige gastheer die veel weet van de omgeving en erg behulpzaam. Het zwembad was heerlijk en er kwam regelmatig iemand om het schoon te maken. Wanneer je van rust en natuur wil genieten dan is dit een aanrader. Elke dag kwamen de berggeiten om water te drinken uit het zwembad. Alleen niet geschikt voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn, omdat je met een trap naar beneden naar het zwembad moet. Wij komen graag weer.
