The air conditioning was quite helpful. All four of the bedrooms were spacious with plenty of closets and a private bath. If you have mobility issues, there is one bedroom on the main floor. Then there are 2 on the second floor and 1 on the third floor. The location is excellent with plenty of little shops nearby.

cool spot in porto, each room felt very private and was spacious - location you cannot beat, as it is in the middle of the main town but still feels quiet when you go into your units. small kitchen, but workable (not to cook for large groups though)

Host was super responsive and helped with booking some tours and transfers. The apartment is updated and modern and well-maintained. Plus each bedroom has a bathroom, which is hard to find in a city. The outdoor space is wonderful with views overlooking the city. It’s important to note that you have to walk through an alley and either use an elevator or walk 3 flights of stairs, but the apartment is worth it. The one downside is that, aside from the large kitchen table and the expansive outside seating, there isn’t a space to sit and relax with your group.

Great stay in Porto

We loved our stay at this property in Porto. Centrally located with a lot going on right outside the apartment. It was perfect for our family of 8 and we especially loved the terrace. Only thing to comment is that in the afternoon, the apartment gets quite hot by the setting sun - we would spend most of the time on the terrace but it did not have a cover over the sitting area (as was in the pictures). It wasn't a big deal and by evening a cool breeze would come through.

Right in middle of shopping area

Patricia and Pedro were excellent hosts. Entrance to the house is a little hard to find the first time. We called Patricia and she was already there for our checkin. She came down and helped us. House was as advertised. The rooftop is very nice and wish we could have enjoyed it more except for the weather. House is in a great location. It is right in the shopping district and also close to great restaurants. We were also only about a 15 min walk to the Ribeira neighborhood which was great for seeing some of the earliest parts of Porto. Would definitely stay here again

Fantastic Location, Amazing outdoor area

The location is amazing, right in the center of town. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and the beds were amazing. The outdoor space that you have access to is really a hidden gem.

Appartement idéalement situé dans le centre historique de Porto proche du metro. Accueil au top, services de transport ou de restauration (petit déjeuner) proposés. Lovely large bedrooms and interesting outdoor area

We were 4 female friends traveling together and it felt luxurious to stay in a refurbished apartment with these 3 ensuite bedrooms (the 4th bedroom is on the first floor and not as nice as the others). The room size was amazing and the apartment had beautiful original architectural aspects. The apartment is in a central location (restaurants, shops, grocery stores) however the actual entrance to the apartment is unusual and located behind what may be an abandon building (unclear really). Half the women in our group said they would not have felt comfortable returning to the apartment alone after dark given the entrance. We experienced no issues at all but a comment to share. The terrace area is something, the weather was not great when we were there so unable to enjoy it much. It looks like a fair amount of restoration will be going on in the neighborhood. The apartment worked very well for us as we ate out for our meals and each enjoyed the luxury of private ensuite bedrooms that we did not experience within the other apartments we booked elsewhere in Portugal. Loved Porto and hope to get back one day

Amazing location, perfect for groups, but needs some maintenance

Very centrally located in a bustling part of Porto, extremely walkable to many shops and restaurants. Check in was fine but you did have to coordinate to meet in person which was not the most convenient. It is a decent walk to the unit from the street, up some stairs (or private elevator) before entering from the back. The unit feels more like a 4 room hotel with a dining area than a cohesive home - no real lounge/family/living area with a couch, which was not a problem for us. The beds were extremely comfortable, and separate AC units in each bedroom were great. Heated towel racks a nice touch. However, the bathrooms need some maintenance - the shower was leaking everywhere and did not feel very clean, needed new grouting. The outdoor patio had pools of standing water which breeded insects, but did provide a nice view.

Gem in Porto

Our Family of 7 stayed for 4 nights at this amazing property. It had plenty of room for everyone and an outdoor space hard to beat in the heart of a city. The property itself was a hidden gem. It was in the center of Porto, walkable to everything, but once you were inside, it felt very private. We would definitely stay again! The hosts were also amazing! Helpful and responsive. Thank you for the wonderful Porto memories.

Fantastic place!!!

What an amazing place. A secluded, right off the street, entrance to your private elevator. An incredible deck with expansive views. Every room is large, with ensuites, beds are comfortable, private balconies, beautiful staircase to the other two floors. All in the heart of the shopping district. We did not expect this level of luxury. The pictures do not do it justice. Maria, our host, was equally amazing. She showed us everything, floor by floor, and made sure we had everything we needed. We will stay here every time we visit Porto.

Excellent location

We absolutely loved this location. Super convenient to shopping and restaurants. Very clean with comfortable beds and air conditioning, which seems to be a rarity! Awesome view from back deck. Would definitely stay here again!

Location location location!

Centrally located so it’s an easy walk to most everything including river and shopping. The outside patio was perfect for enjoying a glass of wine. Apartments were clean and spacious.

This was a great location.

We enjoyed our stay here. The apartment served its purpose for 5 people. We were greeted in person and appreciated that as it would have been really challenging to find. The location was perfect for restaurants and shops. We also loved the option of having breakfast delivered and transportation from the airport. My biggest compliment is that there wasn’t a list of multiple chores we had to complete upon checkout! This was a first for me and I have used VRBO for years.

Lovely flat in an excellent location

This property is set up very well with the 4 suites, comfortable beds, extremely clean, and amazing views of old Porto. Pedro and his team were a delight to work with, from their transfer driver to Constance the concierge to the breakfast lady who delivers a delicious breakfast. Would absolutely recommend.

Great stay for our last night back in Lisbon

Our group of 7 found this place to be just right. We only stayed one night prior to an early flight the following morning, but wished it could have been longer. Great recommendations from our host, Miguel for dinner as well! Would stay again if we return.
