Brambly Hedge boasts rural charm and modern facilities, inside you’ll find a large open plan kitchen living area, luxurious bedrooms, indulgent bathrooms. Outside you can enjoy the seating area with picturesque views over the rolling green hills or sit close to the babbling beck at the bottom of the garden. The picturesque village of Cartmel and the beauty of Lake Windermere are less than 10 minutes away by car.

Brambly Hedge has been lovingly renovated and extended and now offers contemporary and comfy accommodation in the lakes. With an open plan living and kitchen area which opens out onto a patio area, underfloor heating, oak feature doors and all the home comforts-it’s your perfect getaway.

Little gem in a peaceful location

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely little cottage. It has been renovated to a very high standard. Everything from the impressive kitchen to the high quality bed linen has been well thought out. It was immaculate and Rachel was extremely helpful. Would love to stay here again. Only wish there was a pub or village within walking distance. Otherwise a perfect little haven.

A dream retreat in Northern England – 5 stars from the heart!We had a fantastic time in this beautiful holiday home and can recommend it 100%. It is the perfect place to truly unwind, leave the hustle and bustle of daily life behind, and just relax.Right from the moment you step inside, you notice how much attention to detail has gone into the space: modern, stylish, yet wonderfully cosy. You feel genuinely welcomed from the start. Absolutely nothing was missing – from the perfectly equipped kitchen for cooking together in the evenings to the wonderfully comfortable bedrooms.An absolute highlight is the fantastic garden, complete with a BBQ and fire pit, ideal for relaxing evenings in the fresh air. The idyllic backdrop, along with our charming animal neighbours, the sheep in the adjoining fields, makes the countryside experience complete.If you want to escape everyday life and enjoy the stunning beauty of the Northern English countryside to the fullest, this is the place for you. A massive thank you to our fantastic host Rachel!

Beautiful Cottage Stay

Wow! What an amazing stay we had at this gorgeous cottage. The cottage was so modern, clean and had everything you could want. Location was great and within easy access to explore the gorgeous Lake District. Highly recommend.

Wonderful short break

Such a lovely property in a beautiful part of the country- everything in the cottage was spotlessly clean and so comfortable. A lovely sitting out area for evening drinks and the weather was great. Would love to visit again!
