very unsafe location
When we arrived at the apartment, it was in an extremely unsafe are. There were people doing hard drugs in the immediate vicinity, and people even came up to us to try sell us drugs and various other things.
It was an extremely sketchy neighbourhood and we felt extremely unsafe.
It was to the point where we did not feel comfortable walking through the crowd of sketchy people and left immediately to check into a hotel instead.
The nature of the neighbourhood was NOT mentioned in the listing. Had we known we never would have booked this. Furthermore, we incurred much more wasted time and expense due to use having to find a book a hotel at last second.
The property manager was willing to hear out our problem, but ultimately was very unhelpful and did not refund us, even partially. Despite even the added costs and wasted time and misleading listing.
